\n“וּמִמַּעַל, לָרָקִיעַ אֲשֶׁר עַל-רֹאשָׁם, כְּמַרְאֵה אֶבֶן-סַפִּיר, דְּמוּת כִּסֵּא; וְעַל, דְּמוּת הַכִּסֵּא, דְּמוּת כְּמַרְאֵה אָדָם עָלָיו, מִלְמָעְלָה ”
\n“And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone; and upon the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man upon it above.”<\/p>\n

In his Zeir Anpin<\/a> was revealed to him as the upper nine Sefirot together with Malchut<\/a> in complete unification.<\/p>\n

The unification through the level of Yessod<\/a> reveals 18 worlds (Sefirot) because Yessod<\/a> is the ninth Sefira and the unification reveals the returning light of the nine Sefirot. This revelation of direct and returning light creates Life. The 18 Sefirot is the secret behind the word ‘חי’, (pronounced Chai) ‘Life’, that is numerically 18.<\/p>\n

Many people wear a pendant with the two letters but for most of them it is just a word that means life. <\/p>\n

The 18 is also the secret of the two letters טט in the name of the Archangel Metatron, ‘מטטרון’ that connects our prayers from the lower to the upper worlds. Also the secret of the head Tefilin, ‘טטפת’, that is mentioned in the prayer of the Shema Israel<\/a> and connects our prayers to the ‘gate or prayer’ keeper, Metatron.<\/p>\n

The Zohar reveals to us that the prayers that are received above require three elements -merits, wisdom and richness. Merits are gained with restriction and control of the desire for the self alone and through sharing.<\/p>\n

Wisdom is for the study of Torah. For us, the Zohar is the highest level of Torah study that connects us to wisdom, ‘Chokmah<\/a>’.<\/p>\n

Richness comes from accumulating a lot of good actions through precepts and spiritual connections.<\/p>\n

The Zohar says that we should ask people that have all three attributes to pray for us, because their prayers are answered. <\/p>\n
