\n304. וּבַעֲלֵי הַקּוֹמָה רְשׁוּמִים בָּהֶם בַּתְּפִלָּה בְּאֵיזֶה מָקוֹם. אֶלָּא כָּל הַכּוֹרֵעַ – כּוֹרֵעַ בְּבָרוּךְ, וְכָל הַזּוֹקֵף – זוֹקֵף בַּשֵּׁם. זְקִיפוֹת אַרְבַּע וּכְרִיכוֹת אַרְבַּע. הֲרֵי כָּאן רוֹמֵז בְּאֵלּוּ הַזְּקִיפוֹת וְהַכְּרִיעוֹת, מוֹלִיךְ וּמֵבִיא לְמִי שֶׁאַרְבַּע רוּחוֹת הָעוֹלָם שֶׁלּוֹ, מַעֲלֶה וּמוֹרִיד לְמִי שֶׁהַשָּׁמַיִם וְהָאָרֶץ שֶׁלּוֹ. וְאֵלּוּ הֵם שִׁשָּׁה צְדָדִים – שָׁמַיִם וָאָרֶץ וְאַרְבַּע רוּחוֹת. כְּנֶגֶד שָׁלֹשׁ בְּרָכוֹת רִאשׁוֹנוֹת וְשָׁלֹשׁ אַחֲרוֹנוֹת. בְּעֹשֶׂה שָׁלוֹם בִּמְרוֹמָיו – אַרְבַּע, כְּרִיעָה וּזְקִיפָה לִשְׂמֹאל, וּכְרִיעָה וּזְקִיפָה לְיָמִין. וְזֶה הוּא נוֹתֵן שָׁלוֹם לִשְׂמֹאלוֹ וִימִינוֹ. לִשְׂמֹאל רַבּוֹ, וְלִימִין רַבּוֹ.
\n305. הֲרֵי הֵן שְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵה בֵּין (כְּרִיכוֹת) (כְּרִיעוֹת) וּכְרִיעוֹת וּזְקִיפוֹת, וּבָהֶן ע”ב עֵינַיִם. שֵׁשׁ כְּרִיעוֹת בָּהֶן שְׁמוֹנָה עָשָׂר נִעְנוּעִים, שָׁלֹשׁ בְּכָל פַּעַם, רֹאשׁ וְגוּף וְזָנָב, שֶׁצָּרִיךְ לִכְרֹעַ בִּשְׁמוֹנֶה עֶשְׂרֵה חֻלְיוֹת שֶׁעוֹלוֹת שִׁבְעִים וּשְׁתַּיִם. בְּאֵלּוּ הַשִּׁבְעִים וּשְׁתַּיִם עֵינַיִם שֶׁל הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא מְאִירִים שִׁבְעִים וּשְׁתַּיִם כַּנְפֵי הַשְּׁכִינָה, וְעוֹמֶדֶת עֲלֵיהֶם, וְנִקְרֵאת עֲמִידָה. שֶׁבַּתְּחִלָּה הָיְתָה נְפִילָה, וְצָרִיךְ לְזָקְפָהּ בְּשֵׁם יְהֹוָה, בְּחַ”י עוֹלָמוֹת, וּבְאַרְבַּע זְקִיפוֹת בְּשֵׁשׁ בְּרָכוֹת, שֶׁהוּא תִּפְאֶרֶת, כָּלוּל בְּשָׁלֹשׁ בְּרָכוֹת רִאשׁוֹנוֹת וְשָׁלֹשׁ בְּרָכוֹת אַחֲרוֹנוֹת.\n<\/div>\n

During the silent prayer we have four special places where we squat in the word ברוך,’Baruch’, bow in ‘Ata’ אתה, and go back to upright position in the word YHVH<\/a> יהוה . These three steps are repeated four times to a total of twelve steps.<\/p>\n

At the end of the silent prayer we have in עושה שלום six steps when we turn to the left and right.<\/p>\n

The Zohar reveals to us that when we bow, we move the 18 links of the spine and we should meditate to connect to Yessod<\/a> that is called חי, ‘chai’, numerically 18.<\/p>\n

The aspect of six is related to the four directions plus Up and Down or Heaven and Earth.<\/p>\n

The Holy Ari gives us a meditation of connecting the upper and lower names with each of the first four bows.<\/p>\n

The first one connects the Y from YHVH<\/a> and the A from ADNY, the second H+D, the third VN and the fourth connects HY. The silent prayer gives us the higher connection of YHVH<\/a> יהוה and ADNY אדני<\/p>\n

The following image is a representation of the four letter name יהוה name on a higher level. I bring it here without the required long explanation so we can benefit from looking at it. It connects us to the 72 bridges from the upper to the lower level. There are 24 ‘eyes’ in this form of the name and three ‘connectors’ on each. All connectors together sum up to 72.
