367. וְהוּא כְּדֻגְמַת הַקָּנֶה, וְהוּא אוֹת ו’ בֶּן יָ”הּ מִבִּינָה. וְלָכֵן בֵּאֲרוּ בַּעֲלֵי הַמִּשְׁנָה, הָרוֹאֶה קָנֶה בַּחֲלוֹם זוֹכֶה לְחָכְמָה. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (משלי ד) קְנֵה חָכְמָה קְנֵה בִינָה. שֶׁאֵין קָנֶה שֶׁהוּא פָּחוֹת מִשְּׁנֵיהֶם, שֶׁהֵם י’ חָכְמָה, ה’ בִּינָה. וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה צָרִיךְ לְעוֹרֵר בַּשּׁוֹפָר, שֶׁהוּא קָנֶה, עוֹלָם הַבָּא, עוֹלָם אָרֹךְ, אֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם, שֶׁנִּמְצָאִים מִמֶּנּוּ שְׁלֹשׁ עֶשְׂרֵה מִדּוֹת שֶׁל רַחֲמִים, כְּחֶשְׁבּוֹן וָא”ו. אוֹת א’ – אֶרֶךְ, שְׁתֵּי וָוִי”ם – אַפַּיִם.
\n368. וְאִמָּא עֶלְיוֹנָה הִיא תְּקִיעָה, מִצִּדּוֹ שֶׁל אַבְרָהָם. שְׁבָרִים מִצִּדּוֹ שֶׁל יִצְחָק. תְּרוּעָה מִצִּדּוֹ שֶׁל יַעֲקֹב. שְׁכִינָה תַּחְתּוֹנָה קֶשֶׁר שֶׁל כֻּלָּם. כְּלוֹמַר, אוֹת ק’ – תְּקִיעָה. אוֹת ש’ – שְׁבָרִים. אוֹת ר’ – תְּרוּעָה. וְכֻלָּם מְשֻׁלָּשִׁים לְגַבֵּי הַשְּׁכִינָה. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב קְדֻשָּׁה לְךָ יְשַׁלֵּשׁוּ. שֶׁאֵין קוֹל יָכוֹל לָצֵאת הַחוּצָה אֶלָּא מִן הַפֶּה. אַף כָּךְ אֵין לְהַפְרִיד הַשְּׁכִינָה מֵהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא. שֶׁהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא נֶאֱמַר בּוֹ, (תהלים כט) קוֹל ה’ חֹצֵב לַהֲבוֹת אֵשׁ. וְהַשְּׁכִינָה – תְּפִלַּת כָּל פֶּה. וְאֵלּוּ סִימָנִים: קשר”ק, קש”ק, קר”ק. וּבַחִבּוּר הַקַּדְמוֹן. \n369. לוֹקְחִים שׁוֹפָר לְעוֹרֵר בּוֹ תְּרוּעָה וּתְקִיעָה, דִּין קָשֶׁה בְּרַחֲמִים, וּשְׁבָרִים – דִּין קָשֶׁה בְּלִי רַחֲמִים (דִּין רָפֶה בְּרַחֲמִים), וְאָז כָּךְ יְעוֹרְרוּ לְמַעְלָה לְהִתְעָרֵב זֶה בָּזֶה.<\/div>\n

Pinchas 367-369<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Zohar reveals to us that Yom Kippur is the aspect of the letter Vav ו, that connects us to Binah<\/a> like the windpipe קנה of the lungs with the sounds and the sacred words of the prayers.<\/p>\n

With the Shofar<\/a>, we extend our reach to the higher levels and are able to connect to the thirteen attributes of Mercy of God. 13 is the numerical value of the spelled form of the letter Vav, ואו. The letter Alef א in the middle is the secret of ארך , ‘long’ and the two Vavs וו is for אפים.
\nארך אפים, means ‘long patience’ and is the first attribute of God as it comes from the level of Keter<\/a>. אפים, means double אף, nose, that channels the upper light to the world through the two nostrils. They are the aspect of two Vavs separated by the inner wall of the nose.<\/p>\n

Psalms 29:7<\/a> “ קוֹל-יְהוָה חֹצֵב; לַהֲבוֹת אֵשׁ”
\n“The voice of YHVH<\/a> heweth out flames of fire”<\/p>\n

The voice, קול is the energy that is embedded in sacred words. They are set to fire in the heart, fueled with the consciousness and raise the heat that is generated in the lungs. The heart is positioned between the ‘wings’ of the lungs for this reason. It then makes the lungs vibrate and the words turn to speech that can come out only from the mouth. The process of transforming the words into speech is like hewing them from the inside.<\/p>\n

The Shechina is revealed through the words of the prayer and when she ascends for unification with the Light she connects Malchut<\/a> to Binah<\/a> for us.<\/p>\n

Another point to think about is the power of the words to manifest all four elements of nature. The FIRE, which is the heat generated by the heart and comes out with the AIR from the lungs condensed into WATER and the minerals in it are of the EARTH element.<\/p>\n
