433. קָנֶ”ה – הוּא קְנֵה חָכְמָה קְנֵה בִינָה. שֶׁהֵם לִימִין הַחֶסֶד, וְלִשְׂמֹאל הַגְּבוּרָה. תִּפְאֶרֶת, סֻלָּם בָּאֶמְצַע, בַּגּוּף, כָּלוּל מִשְׁתֵי זְרוֹעוֹת וְגוּף וּבְרִית וּשְׁתֵּי (צְדָדִים) שׁוֹקַיִם, כְּנֶגֶד שֵׁשׁ הַטַּבָּעוֹת שֶׁל הַקָּנֶה.<\/p>\n

434. וְכַאֲשֶׁר יוֹרֵד יְהֹוָ”ה לַלֵּב לְגַבֵּי אֲדֹנָ”י, מִתְחַבְּרִים הַדִּין בְּרַחֲמִים בַּלֵּב, שֶׁהוּא יְאֲהדֹוָנָהי. וְכַאֲשֶׁר עוֹלֶה שֵׁם אֲדֹנָי לַפֶּה, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר אֲדֹנָי שְׂפָתַי תִּפְתָּח, לְקַבֵּל שֵׁם יְהֹוָה בַּפֶּה, וּלְהִתְחַבֵּר שָׁם שְׁנֵי שֵׁמוֹת בְּחִבּוּר אֶחָד – יְאֲהדֹוָנָהי, כְּמוֹ שֶׁמִּתְחַבְּרִים בַּלֵּב. וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה בֵּאֲרוּ בַּעֲלֵי הַמִּשְׁנָה, מִי שֶׁאֵין תּוֹכוֹ כְּבָרוֹ אַל יִכָּנֵס לְבֵית הַמִּדְרָשׁ, אִם אֵין לָהֶם פֶּה וְלֵב שָׁוִים. 435. קָנֶה – שֵׁשׁ טַבָּעוֹת בַּקָּנֶה שֶׁמִּתְחַבְּרוֹת כְּאַחַת, וְהֵן נִקְרָאוֹת בְּנֵי אֵלִים. מוֹצִיאוֹת רוּחַ לְנַשֵּׁב עַל הָעוֹלָם, וּבָאוֹת מִצַּד הַגְּבוּרָה. וְכַאֲשֶׁר הֵן מִתְחַבְּרוֹת כְּאַחַת, הֵן כְּדֻגְמַת הַשּׁוֹפָר. וְאֵלּוּ נִקְרָאִים שׁוֹפָר, שׁוֹפָר שֶׁל אַיִל שֶׁל יִצְחָק. אֵלִים – בְּנֵי בָשָׁן, הָבוּ לַה’ בְּנֵי אֵלִים. אֵלִים שֶׁל יִצְחָק. וּמוֹצִיאוֹת רוּחַ וְקוֹל. וְאוֹתוֹ קוֹל יוֹצֵא וּפוֹגֵעַ בְּעַנְנֵי גֶשֶׁם, וְנִשְׁמָע לַבְּרִיּוֹת שֶׁבַּחוּץ. וְעַל זֶה נֶאֱמַר, (איוב כו) וְרַעַם גְּבוּרוֹתָיו מִי יִתְבּוֹנָן. שֶׁוַּדַּאי מִצַּד הַגְּבוּרָה הֵם בָּאִים. וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה (וּמָה אוֹמֵר הַקּוֹל הַהוּא? קוֹל ה’ עַל הַמַּיִם אֵל הַכָּבוֹד וְגוֹ’) אֵל הַכָּבוֹד הִרְעִים ה’ עַל מַיִם רַבִּים. אֵל הַכָּבוֹד רוֹעֵם לֹא כָתוּב, אֶלָּא אֵל הַכָּבוֹד הִרְעִים, עַל יְדֵיהֶם שֶׁל בְּנֵי אֵלִים. וְאֵין מִי שֶׁמַּכִּיר בַּשֶּׁבַח שֶׁל הַקּוֹל הַזֶּה. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב מִי יִתְבּוֹנָן.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Light, YHVH<\/a>, comes down the windpipe and connects with ADNY, that is the aspect of judgment of the heart. Together they become יְאֲהדֹוָנָהי and this brings the aspect of life and Mercy.<\/p>\n

When the mouth utters the name ADNY and the heart feesl and expresses the YHVH<\/a>, then the Light of Mercy is revealed. The sages tell us that a person whose mouth and heart are not equal should not enter the place of study.<\/p>\n

We can now understand the deeper meaning of that saying. It is an important requirement to have the YHVH<\/a> in our heart before uttering a blessing or come with a prayer to YHVH<\/a>. Saying ADNY without proper connection in the heart will carry only judgment because the name אדני ADNY itself includes the word דין, ‘judgment’ that represents the world of Malchut<\/a>. It is better not to bless or pray if one is not ready with his heart. We can not just knock on God’s door like a beggar and ask for charity or favor. If the heart is closed then the doors to the spiritual levels are also closed. The gates of tears are open for those with the pure heart, not with the bucket full of them.<\/p>\n

The Kabbalists prepare themselves for an hour before they pray and stay in meditation an hour after that.<\/p>\n

The Zohar describes the people that come to pray and ask for fulfillment of the desire for the self, as dogs that bark for a bite of food.<\/p>\n

The next time you enter a synagogue or prepare yourself for meditation, open your heart before you open your mouth. Even the most wonderful voice can not break through seven heavens<\/a> if the heart is shut.<\/p>\n
