438. וְסוֹד הַדָּבָר – (שם ג) מִי זֹאת עֹלָה מִן הַמִּדְבָּר כְּתִימְרוֹת עָשָׁן. וְזֶה עֲשַׁן הַמַּעֲרָכָה שֶׁעוֹלֶה מִן הַלֵּב לַמֹּחַ, שֶׁכָּל הָרוּחוֹת שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם לֹא מְזִיזוֹת אוֹתוֹ מִמְּקוֹמוֹ. חָכְמָה – כֹּ”חַ מָ”ה. כֹּ”חַ – בַּלֵּב. מָ”ה – בַּמֹּחַ. קָנֶה – תִּפְאֶרֶת, כָּלוּל שֵׁשׁ סְפִירוֹת. שֵׁשׁ מַדְרֵגוֹת הֵן לַכִּסֵּא, שֶׁהִיא אִמָּא. שֶׁתֵּרֵד הַחָכְמָה אֶצְלָהּ מִן הַמֹּחַ לַלֵּב, שֶׁבָּהּ הַלֵּב מֵבִין. וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה, (משלי ד) קְנֵה חָכְמָה קְנֵה בִינָה. בּוֹ אַבָּא יוֹרֵד, בּוֹ אַבָּא עוֹלֶה. וְזֶהוּ סֻלָּם שֶׁבּוֹ (עֹלִים וְיֹרְדִים בּוֹ) עֹלִים – שְׁנַיִם, וְיֹרְדִים – שְׁנַיִם. וּבַחִבּוּר הַקַּדְמוֹן. זֹהַר
\n439. וֵשֶׁט – שֶׁבָּלַע מַאֲכָל, וּמִשָּׁם נִכְנָס לְכָל הָאֵיבָרִים, שֶׁהִיא (זֶה הוּא סוֹד) בְּמַדְרֵגָה שֶׁל אִשִּׁים. אִשִּׁים הֵם קְרֵבִים מִיָּד, וּבוֹלְעִים וְנוֹטְלִים כָּלִיל (הַכֹּל) מִתּוֹךְ הָאֵשׁ הָעֶלְיוֹנָה, שֶׁכָּלִיל לָאִשִּׁים. וְסוֹד זֶה – (דברים יח) אִשֵּׁי ה’ וְנַחֲלָתוֹ יֹאכֵלוּן. אֵלּוּ אוֹכְלִים וּבוֹלְעִים, וְהַשְּׁאָר לֹא אוֹכְלִים כָּךְ.<\/p>\n

440. וְכָל בְּנֵי הָעוֹלָם (שֶׁבַּחוּץ) לְבַד, לֹא יוֹדְעִים אֵיךְ אוֹכְלִים וְלֹא הַסּוֹד שֶׁלָּהֶם, אֶלָּא מַדְרֵגוֹת שֶׁבִּפְנִים הֵם יוֹדְעִים, וְלוֹקְחִים מֵהֶם. וֵשֶׁט אֵין לוֹ בְּדִיקָה מִבַּחוּץ, שֶׁלֹּא יוֹדְעִים, אֶלָּא מִבִּפְנִים יוֹדְעִים וְנוֹטְלִים עַד שֶׁנִּכְנָסִים לְבֵית הַטְּחִינָה, וְנִשְׁחָק וּמִתְבַּשֵּׁל. וְלוֹקֵחַ הַכֹּל הַכָּבֵד, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר. מֵאֵלּוּ הָאִשִּׁים יוֹצְאוֹת מַדְרֵגוֹת שֶׁמַּקְדִּימוֹת וְנוֹטְלוֹת מֵהַכָּבֵד בָּרִאשׁוֹנָה (וּמָהֵן? אֵלּוּ) הַטּוֹחֲנוֹת, שֶׁאוֹכְלִים הַקָּרְבָּנוֹת וְטוֹחֲנִים אוֹתָם. וְעַל זֶה מִשֶּׁחָרַב בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ כָּתוּב, (קהלת יב) וּבָטְלוּ הַטֹּחֲנוֹת כִּי מִעֵטוּ. אֵלּוּ הַטּוֹחֲנוֹת בַּתְּחִלָּה.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Pinchas 438-440<\/strong><\/p>\n

Song of Songs 3:6<\/a>
\n“מִי זֹאת, עֹלָה מִן-הַמִּדְבָּר, כְּתִימְרוֹת, עָשָׁן”
\n“Who is this that cometh up out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, ”<\/p>\n

In front of the Holy Temple was a pillar of smoke that was one of the visible miracles in the Holy Temple. The Zohar tells us that not even all the winds of the world could move it. The smoke was ascending straight up not being affected by the wind.<\/p>\n

Proverb 4:5<\/a>
\n“ קְנֵה חָכְמָה, קְנֵה בִינָה”
\n“Get (קְנֵה) wisdom, get (קְנֵה) understanding”<\/p>\n

The word קְנֵה (get, buy) also has the meaning of ‘pipe, cane, reed, hollow stalk ’.<\/p>\n

Proverb 4:7<\/a>
\n“ רֵאשִׁית חָכְמָה, קְנֵה חָכְמָה; וּבְכָל-קִנְיָנְךָ, קְנֵה בִינָה”
\n“The beginning of wisdom is: Get (קְנֵה) wisdom; and with all your properties get (קְנֵה) understanding.”<\/p>\n

קָנֵה, ‘pipe’ represents a channel of light, and spiritually connects Chokmah<\/a> and Binah<\/a> to the lower levels.<\/p>\n

The windpipe of the lungs, as well as the Esophagus, is of type קָנֵה. They are two conduits to energy of life. The pipe of the lungs is on a higher level with the air it takes in. It is above the diaphragm and the esophagus connects to the stomach that processes solid food and is located below the diaphragm.<\/p>\n

We should learn to properly use our ‘pipes’ on all aspects. Breathing with consciousness and eating using the process of blessing the food, chewing and breaking it down before letting it go down to the stomach for final process and release to the body.<\/p>\n

The smoke in the Holy Temple was stable because it was held by stronger spiritual connection. The Zohar brought this example to teach us that we could achieve the same if we are following the proper ways. The heart (Binah<\/a>) will ignite the fire and produce the ‘smoke’ (=energy) that will ascend to the brain (Chokmah<\/a>) and create a stable pipe קָנֵה of energy in the body.<\/p>\n
