\n512. בִּגְלַל זֶה כָּתוּב, וְהָאֱלֹהִים עָשָׂה שֶׁיִּירְאוּ מִלְּפָנָיו. תִּקֵּן לוֹ לְזֶה הָאִילָן בְּתִקּוּן שָׁלֵם שֶׁאָחוּז לְכָל צַד, עֶלְיוֹן וְתַחְתּוֹן, כְּדֵי שֶׁיִּירְאוּ מִלְּפָנָיו, וְלֹא יַחֲלִיפוּ אוֹתוֹ בְּחִלּוּף אַחֵר לְדוֹרֵי דוֹרוֹת.

The Zohar continues the study of the verse from Ecclesiastes 3:14<\/a>
\n“יָדַעְתִּי, כִּי כָּל-אֲשֶׁר יַעֲשֶׂה הָאֱלֹהִים הוּא יִהְיֶה לְעוֹלָם–עָלָיו אֵין לְהוֹסִיף, וּמִמֶּנּוּ אֵין לִגְרֹעַ; וְהָאֱלֹהִים עָשָׂה, שֶׁיִּרְאוּ מִלְּפָנָיו”
\n“I perceived that whatever God does will make (יַעֲשֶׂה) will be forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it. God has done it, so that people fear before him.”<\/p>\n

The government of the Tree of Life<\/a> is complete and absolute as the verse says “nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it”. It is the aspect of Zeir Anpin<\/a> and the Torah that existed before the Creation. Without the Torah the world cannot exist and without the Torah reading on Shabbat there is no flow of light to the world. The Zohar reveals that God was looking at the Torah when he Created the world. Every letter in the Torah is important and in its place because it is part of the Tree of Life<\/a>, “nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it”. A Torah scroll must be hand scribed following strict rules. The scribe must do a Mikveh<\/a> before starting his work. He may not speak while writing and if he was disturbed from his work or utters even one word then he must go to the Mikveh<\/a> to cleanse that ‘physical’ link. The entire process must be totally spiritual. There are specific meditations and ways to write the YHVH<\/a> name. To keep the flow of light, there are no punctuation marks but a continuous flow of Hebrew letters<\/a> on the parchment. The entire Torah is also considered as one name of God.<\/p>\n

Any missing or extra letter invalidates the Torah scroll from being used for reading. It is the tool that connects us to the tree of Life<\/a> and draws sustenance to the world.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 40:28<\/a>
\n“הֲלוֹא יָדַעְתָּ אִם-לֹא שָׁמַעְתָּ, אֱלֹהֵי עוֹלָם יְהוָה בּוֹרֵא קְצוֹת הָאָרֶץ–לֹא יִיעַף, וְלֹא יִיגָע: אֵין חֵקֶר, לִתְבוּנָתוֹ”
\n“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, YHVH<\/a>, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.”<\/p>\n

“The Creator of the ends of the earth” means that God is everything and everywhere and his ‘understanding’, which is Binah<\/a>, is what provides the continuous flow of Light to the world. <\/p>\n
