I<\/span>n Isaiah 19:2<\/a> we read a prophecy that looks like it is in the process of fulfillment.
\n“וְסִכְסַכְתִּי מִצְרַיִם בְּמִצְרַיִם, וְנִלְחֲמוּ אִישׁ-בְּאָחִיו וְאִישׁ בְּרֵעֵהוּ, עִיר בְּעִיר, מַמְלָכָה בְּמַמְלָכָה”
\n“I will turn one Egyptian against another. They will fight- brother against brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom.<\/p>\n

There is a lot to learn from this prophecy and we will start with the lower aspect of it. <\/p>\n

This situation in Egypt is similar to other countries around the world. It should make us worried and respond to it in a positive way. The entire universe is one Creation and all elements in it are connected and related to each other. As humans, we are parts of the whole and interact with the universe and each other on different levels that we do not always understand.<\/p>\n

We cannot blow out the Moon or planet Mars to pieces because they are far from us or because there are no human habitats on them. We cannot burn or cut down the Amazon rainforest expecting to keep breathing normally. <\/p>\n

The quantum butterfly effect applies also on the consciousness level. we cannot ignore a pain in one part of the world without being affected while walking on silk carpets behind marble walls.<\/p>\n

Some people who hate Islam or radical Islamic groups may be happy about the fighting that split the Egyptian nation. Some Israelis may be happy that the global focus is temporary shifted from Israel<\/a>. The fighting between radical groups in the Islamic countries to gain controlling power may weaken them but at the same time it causes a significant growth of negativity in the world.<\/p>\n

The Bible teaches us in Proverb 24:17<\/a>
\n“בִּנְפֹל אויביך (אוֹיִבְךָ), אַל-תִּשְׂמָח; וּבִכָּשְׁלוֹ, אַל-יָגֵל לִבֶּךָ”
\n“Do not be happy when your enemy falls, and don’t be glad when he stumbles”<\/p>\n

Why God forbids us to enjoy the falling of those who hate us or our enemies? The spiritual principal is clear and strong and before we answer this question we should read another advice from the Bible. In addition to stop hating, which is a passive action, we are asked to go out of our ways and sustain the lives of those who are against us.<\/p>\n

Proverb 25:21<\/a>
\n“אִם-רָעֵב שֹׂנַאֲךָ, הַאֲכִלֵהוּ לָחֶם; וְאִם-צָמֵא, הַשְׁקֵהוּ מָיִם”
\n“If your enemy is hungry, give him some food to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him some water to drink.”<\/p>\n

The answer is not simple to understand because our nature is negative. We came to the world with the mission to transform negative to positive. This is the purpose of cause and effect of the spiritual system. Our negative feelings and hate distance ourselves from the others. We cause additional negativity in the world just by not acting positively to remove the negativity.<\/p>\n

The next verse puts the responsibility on us. If we don’t follow the spiritual principal we will suffer the consequences. We simply cannot ignore negative situations.<\/p>\n

Proverb 25:22<\/a>
\n“כִּי גֶחָלִים–אַתָּה, חֹתֶה עַל-רֹאשׁוֹ; וַיהוָה, יְשַׁלֶּם-לָךְ”
\n“For you’ll be piling burning coals of shame on his head and the LORD will pay you”<\/p>\n

Isaiah 19:22<\/a>
\n“וְנָגַף יְהוָה אֶת-מִצְרַיִם, נָגֹף וְרָפוֹא; וְשָׁבוּ, עַד-יְהוָה, וְנֶעְתַּר לָהֶם, וּרְפָאָם”
\n“And the LORD will strike Egypt, striking and healing, and they will return to the LORD, and he will listen to their pleas for mercy and heal them”<\/p>\n

The prophecy tells us that the process that Egypt will go through is of ‘striking’, which translates to all forms of chaos and ‘healing’ that is a state when God shows his mercy and heal the wounds. People won’t understand the painful process immediately and the cycle will repeat itself until people realize that everything is in the hands of God and they should turn their hearts and faith<\/a> to the force that sustain the entire existence.<\/p>\n

In the next part we’ll learn that God is not cruel and that we may not have Egyptian citizenship, but we all live in Egypt.<\/em><\/p>\n
