622. וְעֶשֶׂר אֶצְבָּעוֹת רוֹמְזוֹת לַעֲשָׂרָה מַאֲמָרוֹת שֶׁל מַעֲשֵׂה בְרֵאשִׁית. וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה בֵּאֲרוּ בַּעֲלֵי הַמִּשְׁנָה, מִי שֶׁמְּזַלְזֵל בִּנְטִילַת יָדַיִם, נֶעֱקָר מִן הָעוֹלָם. מַדּוּעַ? מִשּׁוּם שֶׁיֵּשׁ בָּהֶם סוֹד שֶׁל עֲשָׂרָה מַאֲמָרוֹת וּשְׁמוֹנֶה וְעֶשְׂרִים אוֹתִיּוֹת שֶׁבָּהֶם נִבְרָא הָעוֹלָם.<\/p>\n

623. שְׁלִישִׁי – כּוֹס שֶׁל בְּרָכָה שֶׁתִּקְּנוּ בוֹ עֲשָׂרָה דְבָרִים: הֲדָחָה וּשְׁטִיפָה. עִטּוּר. עִטּוּף. חַי. מָלֵא. מְקַבְּלוֹ בִּשְׁתֵּי יָדָיו. וְנוֹתְנוֹ בַּיָּמִין. וְנוֹתֵן עֵינָיו בּוֹ. וּמַגְבִּיהוֹ מִן הַקַּרְקַע טֶפַח. וּמְשַׁגְּרוֹ בְּמַתָּנָה לְאַנְשֵׁי בֵיתוֹ.<\/p>\n

624. וּבְדֶרֶךְ סוֹד, כּוֹס (דברים לג) מָלֵא בִּרְכַּת ה’. כּוֹס בְּגִימַטְרִיָּא אֱלֹהִי”ם, וּמִשָּׁם הַנְּשָׁמָה, שֶׁהִיא עַל שְׁמוֹ – כּוֹס. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (תהלים קטז) כּוֹס יְשׁוּעוֹת אֶשָּׂא. מִי נִקְרָא יְשׁוּעוֹת? חָמֵשׁ אֶצְבָּעוֹת, שֶׁהֵן כְּנֶגֶד חָמֵשׁ סְפִירוֹת שֶׁל כּוֹס, שֶׁהוּא שֵׁם אֱלֹהִים חַיִּים שֶׁהַבִּינָה מִתְפַּשֶּׁטֶת בָּהֶם לַחֲמִשִּׁים שְׁעָרִים. ה’ פְּעָמִים עֶשֶׂר, בְּאוֹת י’, שֶׁהוּא עֲשָׂרָה דְבָרִים שֶׁתִּקְּנוּ חֲכָמִים בְּכוֹס, שֶׁהוּא אֱלֹהִים חַיִּים, חָמֵשׁ אוֹתִיּוֹת בְּחֶשְׁבּוֹן ה’.<\/p>\n

625. וּבֵאֲרוּ, בְּכוֹס שֶׁצָּרִיךְ הֲדָחָה וּשְׁטִיפָה. הֲדָחָה מִבַּחוּץ, וּשְׁטִיפָה מִבִּפְנִים. וְסוֹד הַדָּבָר – שֶׁיְּהֵא תּוֹכוֹ כְּבָרוֹ. מִי שֶׁזָּכָה לַנְּשָׁמָה מִכּוֹס זֶה, לִהְיוֹת נְשָׁמָה טְהוֹרָה מִבִּפְנִים וּמִבַּחוּץ. וְסוֹד הַדָּבָר – (ויקרא טז) וְטִהֲרוֹ וְקִדְּשׁוֹ. טָהֳרָה מִבִּפְנִים, וּקְדֻשָּׁה מִבַּחוּץ. וּמַה כּוֹס אֵין טָהֳרָתוֹ וּקְדֻשָּׁתוֹ מִבִּפְנִים וּמִבַּחוּץ בְּלִי מַיִם – אַף כָּךְ הַנְּשָׁמָה אֵין טָהֳרָתָהּ וּקְדֻשָּׁתָהּ מִבִּפְנִים וּמִבַּחוּץ בְּלִי תוֹרָה. וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה אָמַר רַבָּן גַּמְלִיאֵל, מִי שֶׁאֵין תּוֹכוֹ כְּבָרוֹ לֹא יִכָּנֵס לְבֵית הַמִּדְרָשׁ. בִּגְלַל שֶׁאֵין הוּא מִצַּד עֵץ הַחַיִּים, אֶלָּא מֵעֵץ הַדַּעַת טוֹב וָרָע.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nThe cup כוס for the blessing of the wine is called ‘Kiddush’. The numerical value of ‘cup’ כוס is 86, same as אלהים, ELHYM.<\/p>\n

Psalms 116:13<\/a>
\n“כּוֹס-יְשׁוּעוֹת אֶשָּׂא; וּבְשֵׁם יְהוָה אֶקְרָא”
\n“I will lift up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of YHVH<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

We fill the cup with wine to the top, bringing total fulfillment to the vessel.<\/p>\n

Deuteronomy 33:23<\/a>
\n” וּמָלֵא בִּרְכַּת יְהוָה”, “full with the blessing of YHVH<\/a>”<\/p>\n

We hold the cup with five fingers connecting the five Sefirot of the cup (Chessed<\/a>, Gevurah<\/a>, Tiferet<\/a>, Netzach<\/a> and Hod<\/a>) to the fifty gates of Binah<\/a>. The blessing and drinking connect the five to Yessod<\/a> and Malchut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The wine cup by itself requires 10 actions that will be explained below and the following commentaries.<\/p>\n

· Wash with water from the inside<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Wash with water from the outside<\/strong>.
\nThe cup is a tool to draw the light of Binah<\/a> and purifying it with water is very important.<\/p>\n

Our soul (inner) and body (outer) should be pure. Our heart and mind (inner) and actions (outer) should be equal and pure in order to have affinity with the light and draw it down to our lives.<\/p>\n
