626. עִטּוּר – פֵּרְשׁוּהוּ מְעַטְּרוֹ בְּתַלְמִידִים. וְדֶרֶךְ סוֹד – ה’ הִיא כּוֹס, מְעַטְּרוֹ בְּתַלְמִידִים בְּאוֹת י’, שֶׁהִיא עֲטָרָה עַל ה’. עִטּוּף – צָרִיךְ לַעֲטֹף רֹאשׁוֹ בִּגְלַל שֶׁהַשְּׁכִינָה עַל רֹאשׁוֹ. שֶׁכָּךְ פֵּרְשׁוּהוּ בַּעֲלֵי הַמִּשְׁנָה, אָסוּר לְתַלְמִיד חָכָם לְהַלֵּךְ ד’ אַמּוֹת בְּגִלּוּי הָרֹאשׁ, מִשּׁוּם (ישעיה ו) מְלֹא כָל הָאָרֶץ כְּבוֹדוֹ. כָּל שֶׁכֵּן בִּבְרָכָה וּבְהַזְכָּרַת שֵׁם הַקָּדוֹשׁ שֶׁאָסוּר לִהְיוֹת בְּגִלּוּי הָרֹאשׁ.<\/p>\n

627. שֶׁאוֹת י’ מִן יְהֹוָ”ה הִיא שֶׁהִתְעַטְּפָה בָּאוֹר, וְנֶעֶשְׂתָה אֲוִיר. (וְזֶהוּ אֲוִיר שֶׁל אֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל מַחְכִּים) מִשּׁוּם שֶׁאוֹת י’, שֶׁהִיא חָכְמָה, בָּאֲוִיר, וְזֶהוּ אוֹר שֶׁהִתְעַטֵּף בּוֹ כְּשֶׁבָּרָא אֶת הָעוֹלָם. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (תהלים קד) עֹטֶה אוֹר כַּשַּׂלְמָה. וְזֶהוּ (בראשית א) יְהִי אוֹר – יְהִי אֲוִיר. וּפֵרְשׁוּהוּ בַּעֲלֵי סוֹדוֹת הַתּוֹרָה, בְּטֶרֶם שֶׁנִּתְהַוָּה כָּל דָּבָר, נִתְהַוּוּ הַהֲוָיוֹת. וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה נֶאֱמַר יְהִי אוֹר וַיְהִי אוֹר, שֶׁהָיָה מִזְּמַן קַדְמוֹן.<\/p>\n

628. חַי – פֵּרְשׁוּהוּ חַי מִן הֶחָבִית. וְדֶרֶךְ סוֹד – שְׁכִינָה עֶלְיוֹנָה הִיא שְׁמִינִית לַסְּפִירוֹת מִמַּטָּה לְמַעְלָה, וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה נִקְרֵאת אוֹת ח’, וְנֶאֱמַר בָּהּ (משלי כד) בְּחָכְמָה יִבָּנֶה בָּיִת. וְזֶהוּ חָבִית: ח’ בַּיִ”ת. וּמִשּׁוּם שֶׁהִיא חַיִּים, שֶׁכָּתוּב (משלי ג) עֵץ חַיִּים הִיא לַמַּחֲזִיקִים בָּהּ, הַיַּיִן מִשָּׁם הוּא חַי. וְזֶהוּ יֵינָהּ שֶׁל תּוֹרָה. מִי שֶׁמִּשְׁתַּדֵּל בָּהּ נִקְרָא חַי. וְעוֹד, צַדִּיק חַי, שֶׁהוּא חַי מִן הֶחָבִית.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Pinchas 626-628<\/strong>
\nContinued from previous DZ<\/p>\n

Continuing the subject of the ten actions related to the cup of wine. The cup of the Kiddush by itself is one of the ten things related to the meals of Shabbat.<\/p>\n

Decorated.<\/strong>
\nThe sages explained that decoration is with students and the Zohar reveals that the secret of decoration is the letter Yod. The cup is the aspect of the letter H of the name. When the letter Y is added to the cup, then it becomes decorated.<\/p>\n

Wrapped.<\/strong>
\nThe letter י Yod from YHVH<\/a> was ‘wrapped’ in Light אור and became אויר, ‘Air’. This is the light God wrapped himself with when he created the worlds.<\/p>\n

Psalms 104:2<\/a>
\n” עֹטֶה-אוֹר, כַּשַּׂלְמָה”, ” Who covers himself with light as with a garment<\/a>”<\/p>\n

When God said “Let there be Light…” he let the Yod of Chokmah<\/a> get wrapped around the Light and created the physical ‘Air’ אויר and without it there is no life. The strongest level of Chokamah in the air is in Israel<\/a> where Creation began. That is why Israel<\/a> is a source of wisdom and innovations for the whole world.<\/p>\n

Live<\/strong> חי , ‘Life’ , 18
\nThe wine should be pure and strong as if it comes directly from the original barrel. It should be undiluted. We pour the ‘live’ wine into the cup but we can add water to balance it. Most wines sold today already come diluted with water. We add few drops of water to ‘soften’ and balance its energy.<\/p>\n

The requirement of ‘live’ wine also forms a connection to Yessod<\/a> that is the aspect of righteous that connects us to Binah<\/a>, which is Life force and the entire Tree of Life<\/a>.<\/p>\n
