Hosea 14:3<\/a>
\n“קְחוּ עִמָּכֶם דְּבָרִים, וְשׁוּבוּ אֶל-יְהוָה; אִמְרוּ אֵלָיו, כָּל-תִּשָּׂא עָו‍ֹן וְקַח-טוֹב, וּנְשַׁלְּמָה פָרִים, שְׂפָתֵינוּ”
\n“Take with you words and return to YHVH<\/a>; say to him, “Take away all iniquity; accept what is good, and we will pay with bulls the words of our lips”<\/p>\n

We learned that the sacrifices served as a tool to open spiritual gates and draw light that cleansed all impurities from us and the entire world.
\nOne of the tools to make a high connection to Binah<\/a> is the prayer of the Shema Israel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The words אֶחָד and כָבוֹד from the first two lines add up to מה 45, same as the name of Zeir Anpin<\/a>, יוד-הא-ואו-הא. The name of 45 מה draws light from Chokmah<\/a> חכמה to Binah<\/a> and with the connection to the Tefilin of the head it is connected together and draws down to the lower levels. The four chambers of the head Tefilin represent the YHVH<\/a> and Chokmah<\/a>, Binah<\/a>, Zeir Anpin<\/a> and Malchut<\/a>. The prayers are connected together and the angel of the prayers gathers them together as a crown above the head of the person.<\/p>\n

After the prayers, we prepare a meal on a table that serves as an altar. The wine and bread become the tools that ‘bridge’ between the spiritual and the physical.
\nProverbs 9:6<\/a>
\n“לְכוּ, לַחֲמוּ בְלַחֲמִי; וּשְׁתוּ, בְּיַיִן מָסָכְתִּי”
\n“Come, eat of my bread, And drink of the wine I have mingled”
\nThe English translation is corrupted because it doesn’t make sense to literally translate the Hebrew words. It should say “Go fight with my bread and drink, with wine that I poured.”<\/p>\n

This verse teaches us that the bread can be a great channel of energy from God. It was given to us as a tool of spiritual connection.
\nGenesis 3:19<\/a>
\n“ בְּזֵעַת אַפֶּיךָ, תֹּאכַל לֶחֶם”
\n“By the sweat of your face you shall eat your bread”<\/p>\n

After the first sin Adam and Eve got disconnected from the free flow of light. God gave them the tool and the method to draw sustenance. The verse reveals that there is ‘earning’ process before receiving sustenance, which is the bread of God. Spiritual connection comes first and then we can benefit from the ‘bread’. Having the ‘material’ bread without the connection to the light just adds more ‘mass’ and gravity force on the body and soul of the person.<\/p>\n

Ezekiel 41:22<\/a>
\n“הַמִּזְבֵּחַ עֵץ שָׁלוֹשׁ אַמּוֹת גָּבֹהַּ וְאָרְכּוֹ שְׁתַּיִם-אַמּוֹת, וּמִקְצֹעוֹתָיו לוֹ, וְאָרְכּוֹ וְקִירֹתָיו, עֵץ; וַיְדַבֵּר אֵלַי–זֶה הַשֻּׁלְחָן, אֲשֶׁר לִפְנֵי יְהוָה”
\n“The altar was of wood, three cubits high and its length two cubits; its corners, its base and its sides were of wood. And he said to me, “This is the table that is before YHVH<\/a>.””
\nThis verse reveals the connection between the Altar and the table.<\/p>\n

Our dining table should always be treated with respect as if every food we eat on it is a sacrifice that is brought to the Altar on the Holy Temple. Keep the table clean and on Shabbat make it even extra special with better settings and food. Bless the food before and after you eat and it will draw greater blessings into your lives.<\/p>\n
