\n833. אָמַר רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר, אַבָּא, מַדּוּעַ מִצַּד הָאִמָּא הָעֶלְיוֹנָה מְזַמֵּן כָּל הַמְמֻנִּים שֶׁל כָּל הָאֻמּוֹת, וּמִצַּד הַשְּׁכִינָה הַתַּחְתּוֹנָה לֹא מְזַמֵּן אֶלָּא אֻמָּה יְחִידָה, כְּנֶגֶד פַּר יָחִיד?
\n834. אָמַר לוֹ, בְּנִי, טוֹב שָׁאַלְתָּ. מִפְּנֵי שֶׁמַּלְכוּת הִיא רוֹמֶזֶת לְבַת, שֶׁהִיא צְנוּעָה בְּבֵית אָבִיהָ וְאִמָּהּ. וְהִיא אֲרוּסָה וְלֹא נְשׂוּאָה. אֵין דֶּרֶךְ אֶרֶץ לֶאֱכֹל עִם אוֹרְחִים. אֲבָל אִמָּא שֶׁהִיא נְשׂוּאָה, דֶּרֶךְ אֶרֶץ הוּא (לֶאֱכֹל עִם הָאוֹרְחִים) אַחַר שֶׁמַּזְמִין בַּעְלָהּ אוֹרְחִים לֶאֱכֹל עַל הַשֻּׁלְחָן עִם בַּעְלָהּ. וְאִם הֵם אוֹרְחִים נָכְרִים, לֹא אוֹכְלִים עִמָּהֶם לֹא אַבָּא וְלֹא אִמָּא, וְכָל שֶׁכֵּן הַבַּת. וּמִשּׁוּם כָּךְ בַּסְּעוּדָה שֶׁל שִׁבְעִים הַמְמֻנִּים לֹא מִשְׁתַּתֵּף לֶאֱכֹל עִמָּהֶם אֶחָד מִבַּעֲלֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ, מִפְּנֵי שֶׁהֵם נָכְרִים. אָמַר לוֹ, וַדַּאי עַתָּה יִתְיַשֵּׁב הַדָּבָר בְּלִבִּי עַל בֻּרְיוֹ.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Pinchas 832-834<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the seven days of Sukkoth we sacrifice seventy bulls for the seventy nations of the world but on the eighth day we sacrifice only one bull. This day is called “שמיני עצרת” “the assembly of the eighth” and the bull is for a special spiritual connection and celebration for the Israelites<\/a> with YHVH<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the previous seven days, the seventy nations receive Light of sustenance and life from Binah<\/a> through the process of bringing 70 bulls on the Altar. The Israelites<\/a> were the last one to receive the Light but their celebration is special. They have direct benefit from the unification of Zeir Anpin<\/a> and Malchut<\/a> that happens on that day. This special day is called “שמחת תורה”, ‘Joy of Torah’, a day that we complete the yearly cycle of the Torah reading and start again from Genesis 1.<\/p>\n

This lesson teaches us that the Israelites<\/a> are a special nation that is treated differently by YHVH<\/a>. They need to make connections to draw the light to the world and share it with the rest of the world before they can benefit themselves.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 42:6<\/a> ” אֲנִי יְהוָה קְרָאתִיךָ בְצֶדֶק, וְאַחְזֵק בְּיָדֶךָ; וְאֶצָּרְךָ, וְאֶתֶּנְךָ לִבְרִית עָם–לְאוֹר גּוֹיִם”
\n“I am YHVH<\/a>; I have called you in righteousness; I will take you by the hand and keep you; I will give you as a covenant for the people, a light for the nations”<\/p>\n

The nations of the world depend on the Israelites<\/a> for their spiritual sustenance. As Israelites<\/a> we have the responsibility for all the nations.
\nExodus 19:6<\/a> “ וְאַתֶּם תִּהְיוּ-לִי מַמְלֶכֶת כֹּהֲנִים, וְגוֹי קָדוֹשׁ”
\n“and ye shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests<\/a>, and a holy nation”
\nRabbi Ashlag, in his article about the ‘responsibility’, Arvut, ערבות<\/a> from the book “The Gift of the Bible” “מתן תורה” wrote the following;
\nאולם הגמר של תיקון העולם, יהיה בהכנסת כל באי העולם בסוד עבודתו ית’, כמ”ש והיה ה’ למלך על כל הארץ ביום ההוא יהיה ה’ אחד ושמו אחד, ודייק הכתוב “ביום ההוא” ולא לפני זה, וכן כמה כתובים: כי מלאה הארץ דעה את ה’ וגו’, ונהרו אליו כל הגויים וגו’. אולם תפקידם של ישראל כלפי כל העולם דומה לתפקידם של אבותינו הק’ כלפי האומה הישראלית, דהיינו, כמו שזכות אבותינו עמדה לנו להתפתח ולהזדכך עד שנעשינו ראויים לקבלת התורה, שלולא אבותינו שקיימו כל התורה מטרם שניתנה, כי אז לא היינו משובחים כלל משאר האומות כמובן, (כנ”ל אות י”ט). כמו כן מוטל על האומה הישראלית ע”י העסק בתורה ובמצוות לשמה להכשיר את עצמם ואת בני העולם כולו עד שיתפתחו לקבל עליהם את העבודה הגבוהה הזו של אהבת הזולת שהוא הסולם לתכלית הבריאה, שהיא דביקותו ית’ כמבואר

\nBut the final correction of the world, will be achieved by introducing everyone to the secret of God’s work, and as it said in Zecharia 14:9<\/a> ” and YHVH<\/a> will be king over the entire earth. On that day YHVH<\/a> will be One and His name one”, and the verse specifically says “on that day” and not before it, and it is also written (Isaiah 11:9<\/a>): “Because the land is filled with the knowledge of YHVH<\/a>”, etc. (Numerical value 506, same as unconditional love ( אהבת חנם). “…and flocked to him all nations, etc..). However, the role of the Israelites<\/a> for the world is like the role of our holy fathers for the nation of Israel<\/a>. The merit of our patriarchs allowed us to develop and refine until we became worthy to receive the Torah. Without them following the law of the Torah before it was given, we would not be better than all the other nations. Also the Israelites<\/a> have the responsibility to study the Torah and precepts for cleansing and prepare themselves and the rest of the world until they accept the high work of unconditional love for others. It is the ladder to reach the purpose of Creation, which is to be one with the Light, blessed be He.<\/p>\n

Share the light with all the people in your life, bring them into the unity that is needed for the entire world to bring about Mashiach.<\/p>\n
