\n840. הִיא שֵׁם שֶׁל מ”ב אוֹתִיּוֹת, שֶׁבָּהֶן נִבְרְאוּ עֶלְיוֹנִים וְתַחְתּוֹנִים. Leviticus 7:37<\/a>
\n“זֹאת הַתּוֹרָה, לָעֹלָה לַמִּנְחָה, וְלַחַטָּאת, וְלָאָשָׁם; וְלַמִּלּוּאִים–וּלְזֶבַח, הַשְּׁלָמִים ”
\n“This is the Torah (laws) of the burnt-offering, of the meal-offering, and of the sin-offering, and of the guilt-offering, and of the consecration-offering, and of the sacrifice of peace-offerings ”<\/p>\n

The Zohar here, discusses the sacrifices of type שלמים ‘peace-offering’. The word ‘שלמים’ has two parts, שלם that means complete and ‘peace’ and ים that means ‘sea’ with numerical value of 50 and it refers to Binah<\/a> where all the sacrifices elevate to make spiritual connection.
\nThe sacrifice of שלמים is the aspect of Malchut<\/a> and the Shechina that connects to and completes the special names of Godיהוה, אדני, אלהים, אהיה<\/a>, שדי (Sorry but there are no proper translations for the names).<\/p>\n

The שלמים is also the aspect of the name of 42 that we know as the Ana B’koach. It is so, because the number of letters in the spelling of the spelling of the YHVH<\/a> name. That is the four letters יהוה+ spelling of the four letters יוד-הי-ויו-הי+ 28 letters of the spelling of the spelling. Together with the previous 14 it adds up to 42.
\nWith this type of sacrifice we make a complete connection from Malchut<\/a> to Chokmah<\/a> and Binah<\/a> through Zeir Anpin<\/a>, the central column. This connection brings the aspect of peace that we seek in all of our prayers. At the end of every Kadish we invite “the maker of peace” to bring peace to all the upper worlds and ours.<\/p>\n
