\n5. רַבִּי אַבָּא פָּתַח וְאָמַר, אֵשֶׁת חַיִל מִי יִמְצָא – זוֹ כְּנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל, שֶׁהִיא אֵשֶׁת חַיִל, כְּמוֹ שֶׁאָמַרְנוּ. מִי יִמְצָא, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר אֲשֶׁר יִמְצָא אֶתְכֶם בְּאַחֲרִית הַיָּמִים. Zohar Tazria<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Zohar tells us that when a spiritual person connects to a woman from the impure system, he creates a major flaw in his spiritual connection. He needs to go through difficult correction to restore what he lost through the channel of Yessod<\/a>.
\nThe Zohar uses the words “אשת־אחר ” “a woman of another”, which can be translated as a woman who is married to another man, and also a woman from the impure system.<\/p>\n

“אחר “,’other’ in the Torah refers to the bad and impure side of the Tree of Knowledge.
\nThe word ” עֵזֶר ” “help” in Genesis 2:18<\/a> has the meaning of help and also a tool. When we rearrange the order of the letters we get “זרע “, which means seed. In our reference this is the seed that is created when a man (male energy) and a woman (female energy) unite.<\/p>\n

When we think about the process of unification and creating life, we realize how great the miracle of creation is. The numerical value of the first two letters ” רז ” is 207, which is the same as Light. ” אור “. The third letter ” ע ” equals to 70, which represents the seven Sefirot (Each Sefira contains ten inner Sefirot). The light comes in with the unification.<\/p>\n

The Holy Ari, explains that the first service of Yom Kippur is to open the arc, bring out Torah scrolls and recite a verse from Psalms (97:11) ” אוֹר, זָרֻעַ לַצַּדִּיק וּלְיִשְׁרֵי-לֵב שִׂמְחָה ” (“Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.”).<\/p>\n

The seed of the Light for the whole year is at that point in Yom Kippur. Opening the Arc is in the level of Chokamh and Binah<\/a> (Kabbalistically called Father and Mother<\/a>). The Torah scroll is Zeir Anpin<\/a>, rolled in a shape of the letter ו Vav and held upright to channel the Light to Malchut<\/a> (the world of action).
\nThe Ari gives a deeper meditation and suggests that a man should do his best just to be able to carry one of the Torah scrolls taken out of the Arc on the night of Yom Kippur. The first Torah that is brought out of the Ark is the seed of all.<\/p>\n

” וְיָלְדָה זָכָר “,”and delivered a man child” (Leviticus 12:2<\/a>) is a result of the connection. ” זָכָר “,”male” is the appearance of the light. This word also reveals the light in it with the letters of ” רז “=” אור ” =” אין־סוף “. The other letter is “כ “, the letter of Keter<\/a>, the highest sefira. It is also the letter of the Sun. This letter also opens forward, in a giving state. “זָכָר ” (=male) is and should be a channel for the Light.<\/p>\n

The Zohar talks about the circumcision<\/a>, Brit<\/a> (” מילה “) done on the eighth day. During the circumcision<\/a>, the father, or the ‘Mohel’ (the person that perform the circumcision<\/a>) acting on behalf of the father, removes the foreskin, ” ערלה “, which represents the Sin of Adam and Eve and the snake<\/a>. This process is the first correction of the body. By removing that negativity we connect the child ” זָכָר ” to the light. Naming the child immediately after the circumcision<\/a> is important. The name connects the body to the root of the soul of his name and it is done after the removal of the negativity. The child is now connected to Binah<\/a>.
\nIt is important to understand that all our prayers are for the purpose of unifying the male (Zeir Anpin<\/a>, ” יהוה “) and the Female (Malchut<\/a>, ” שכינה “). This draws the light and keeps it flowing to this world. If all prayers and spiritual connections stopped, the world would cease to exist.
\nThe Kabbalists teach us that all of our spiritual and physical connections should start with the ” לשם־יחוד־קודשה־בריך־הוא־ושכינתיה ” (for the purpose of unifying the Holy one, bless be he and the Shechinah) ” יה ” and ” וה “.<\/p>\n

B”H we will merit witnessing the final connection of the Light and Vessel in equality (Zechariah 14:9<\/a>)
\n“וְהָיָה יְקוָק לְמֶלֶךְ, עַל-כָּל-הָאָרֶץ; בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא, יִהְיֶה יְקוָק אֶחָד–וּשְׁמוֹ אֶחָד . “,
