12. וְאִם הוּא מוֹנֶה אֶת שֶׁבַח חֲבֵרוֹ וְלֹא מוֹדֶה עָלָיו בְּרָכוֹת – הוּא נִתְפָּס בַּתְּחִלָּה מִלְמַעְלָה. וְאִם הוּא מְבָרֵךְ אוֹתוֹ – הוּא מִתְבָּרֵךְ מִלְמַעְלָה. וְהַבְּרָכָה צָרִיךְ לְבָרֵךְ אוֹתָהּ בְּעַיִן טוֹבָה, וְלֹא בְּעַיִן רָעָה. וּבַכֹּל רוֹצֶה הַקָּדוֹשׁ-בָּרוּךְ-הוּא אַהֲבַת הַלֵּב. וּמַה מִּי שֶׁמְּבָרֵךְ אֶת חֲבֵרוֹ, רוֹצֶה הַקָּדוֹשׁ-בָּרוּךְ-הוּא שֶׁיְּבָרֵךְ אוֹתוֹ בְּעַיִן טוֹבָה, בְּלֵב טוֹב – מִי שֶׁמְּבָרֵךְ אֶת הַקָּדוֹשׁ-בָּרוּךְ-הוּא עַל אַחַת כַּמָּה וְכַמָּה שֶׁצָּרִיךְ עַיִן טוֹבָה וְלֵב טוֹב וְאַהֲבַת הַלֵּב. בִּגְלַל זֶה, (שם ו) וְאָהַבְתָּ אֵת ה’ אֱלֹהֶיךָ בְּכָל לְבָבְךָ וְגוֹ’.
\n13. בֹּא רְאֵה, הֲרֵי פֵּרְשׁוּהָ, אֵין הַבְּרָכָה שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה שׁוֹרָה עַל דָּבָר שֶׁנִּמְנֶה. וְאִם תֹּאמַר, יִשְׂרָאֵל אֵיךְ נִמְנוּ? אֶלָּא כֹּפֶר לָקַח מֵהֶם, וַהֲרֵי פֵּרְשׁוּהָ, וְהַחֶשְׁבּוֹן לֹא הָיָה עַד שֶׁנֶּאֱסַף כָּל אוֹתוֹ הַכֹּפֶר וְעָלָה לַחֶשְׁבּוֹן. וּבַתְּחִלָּה מְבָרְכִים אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל, אַחַר כָּךְ מוֹנִים אוֹתוֹ כֹּפֶר, אַחַר כָּךְ חוֹזְרִים וּמְבָרְכִים אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל. נִמְצָא שֶׁיִּשְׂרָאֵל מִתְבָּרְכִים בַּתְּחִלָּה וּבַסּוֹף, וְלֹא עוֹלָה בָהֶם מַגֵּפָה.
\n14. לָמָּה הַמַּגֵּפָה עוֹלָה בְמִנְיָן? אֶלָּא מִשּׁוּם שֶׁבְּרָכָה לֹא שׁוֹרָה בְמִנְיָן. כֵּיוָן שֶׁמִּסְתַּלֶּקֶת הַבְּרָכָה, הַצַּד הָאַחֵר שׁוֹרֶה עָלָיו, וְיָכוֹל לְהִנָּזֵק. בִּגְלַל זֶה בְּמִנְיָן לוֹקְחִים כֹּפֶר וּפִדְיוֹן, לְסַלֵּק אוֹתוֹ מֵהֶם.<\/div>\n

Psalms 115:12<\/a>
\n“יְהוָה, זְכָרָנוּ יְבָרֵךְ:
\nיְבָרֵךְ, אֶת-בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל”
\n“YHVH<\/a> remembered us, He blessed, He will bless the house of Israel<\/a>,”<\/p>\n

The Zohar teaches us that when we count the blessings of another we should bless them and give thanks to God for that. The lesson comes from Moses and we learn it from the Torah.
\nDeuteronomy 1:10<\/a>
\n“יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם, הִרְבָּה אֶתְכֶם; וְהִנְּכֶם הַיּוֹם, כְּכוֹכְבֵי הַשָּׁמַיִם לָרֹב”
\n“YHVH<\/a> your God has multiplied you, and behold, you are today as numerous as the stars of heaven.”
\n1:11 “יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתֵכֶם, יֹסֵף עֲלֵיכֶם כָּכֶם–אֶלֶף פְּעָמִים; וִיבָרֵךְ אֶתְכֶם, כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר לָכֶם”
\n“May YHVH<\/a>, the God of your fathers, make you a thousand times as many as you are and bless you, as he has promised you!”<\/p>\n

The Zohar tells us that if a person doesn’t connect the blessings to the source and acknowledge it, he gets harmed. But if a person blesses his friend with good heart and good eye then God makes him the channel for that blessing and he benefits from it.<\/p>\n

It is better not to make a fake blessing with evil eye and jealous heart because the light that is supposed to be a blessing cannot continue and it creates judgment that hurts us.
\nThe light of God is pure and positive and the be a tool to channel it we must have affinity with it. It’s not an easy task for most people but to train yourself and avoid judgment, it is better to bless people in your heart and mind without words. Even if we have some jealousy, envy, competition etc., it won’t manifest to hurt us.<\/p>\n

Bless in your heart and mind total strangers on the street or anywhere you see people. In time you’ll be able to bless without ‘attachments’ and have the light flow easily through you.<\/p>\n
