11. וּבַלַּיְלָה שִׁירֹה עִמִּי – זוֹ גְבוּרָה. שִׁירֹה – (דברים לג) בְּכוֹר שׁוֹרוֹ הָדָר לוֹ. Zohar Naso<\/strong><\/p>\n

Psalms 42:9<\/a>
\n“ יוֹמָם, יְצַוֶּה יְהוָה חַסְדּוֹ, וּבַלַּיְלָה, שִׁירֹה עִמִּי תְּפִלָּה, לְאֵל חַיָּי”
\n“YHVH<\/a> will command His loving-kindness (Chessed<\/a>) in the daytime; And His song will be with me in the night, A prayer to the God of my life.”<\/p>\n

Daytime is the aspect of Chessed<\/a> of Zeir Anpin<\/a> and the night is Gevurah<\/a> of Zeir Anpin<\/a>. The song to have at night is the prayers and meditations that use the sacred text.<\/p>\n

The word for singing, שִׁירֹה, has the same numerical value as of תפלה, ‘Prayer’. Singing is when the soul vibrates and gets in sync with the light of the creator. Singing can bring individuals and groups to a higher level of unification with the Light. When combined with unity and pure consciousness, it can contribute to a great spiritual elevation.<\/p>\n

When there is no true spiritual unity, meaning affinity between all the members of the group and\/or the group lacks a pure consciousness, then the singing may bring temporary excitement but nothing or low level of light. It can be compared to sports events. When many people get excited they cheer and sing for their team. The joy of the supporters of the winning team will dissipate in a very short time while the supporters of the losing team leave with empty vessels because they got nothing. They may even leave the game with lost energy.<\/p>\n

There are no losers when singing and connecting to the Light.<\/p>\n

In the next DZ I will describe the spiritual process and aspect of singing including how to sing for opening the heart and achieving spiritual elevation.<\/p>\n
