1. וַיִּקַּח קֹרַח בֶּן יִצְהָר בֶּן קְהָת בֶּן לֵוִי וְגוֹ’. רַבִּי אַבָּא פָּתַח, (תהלים יט) הַנֶּחֱמָדִים מִזָּהָב וּמִפָּז רַב וּמְתוּקִים מִדְּבַשׁ וְנֹפֶת צוּפִים. כַּמָּה עֶלְיוֹנִים הֵם דִּבְרֵי הַתּוֹרָה, כַּמָּה מְכֻבָּדִים הֵם, אֲהוּבִים הֵם לְמַעְלָה, אֲהוּבִים הֵם לְכֻלָּם, בִּגְלַל שֶׁהֵם שֵׁם קָדוֹשׁ. וְכָל מִי שֶׁמִּשְׁתַּדֵּל בַּתּוֹרָה, מִשְׁתַּדֵּל בַּשֵּׁם הַקָּדוֹשׁ וְנִצָּל מֵהַכֹּל. נִצָּל בָּעוֹלָם הַזֶּה, וְנִצָּל בָּעוֹלָם הַבָּא. בֹּא וּרְאֵה, כָּל מִי שֶׁמִּשְׁתַּדֵּל בַּתּוֹרָה, אָחוּז בְּעֵץ הַחַיִּים. כֵּיוָן שֶׁאָחוּז בּוֹ – בַּכֹּל אָחוּז, שֶׁכָּתוּב (משלי ג) עֵץ חַיִּים הִיא לַמַּחֲזִיקִים בָּהּ וְגוֹ’.
\n2. רַבִּי יִצְחָק אָמַר, כָּל מִי שֶׁיִּשְׁתַּדֵּל בַּתּוֹרָה, יֵשׁ לוֹ חֵרוּת מֵהַכֹּל, חֵרוּת מִמִּיתָה כְּמוֹ שֶׁאָמַרְנוּ, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁחֵרוּת שׁוֹרָה עָלָיו וַאֲחוּזָה בוֹ. אִלּוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל מִתְעַטְּרִים בַּתּוֹרָה, יִנָּצְלוּ מֵהַכֹּל, וְלֹא יִמָּצְאוּ בַגָּלוּת. וְזֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (אִלּוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל מְשַׁמְּרִים אֶת הַתּוֹרָה, יִנָּצְלוּ מֵהַכֹּל, וְלֹא יִמָּצְאוּ בַגָּלוּת. כָּתוּב) (שמות לב) חָרוּת עַל הַלֻּחֹת, אַל תִּקְרֵי חָרוּת אֶלָּא חֵרוּת. וְחֵרוּת זוֹ (בֵּאֲרוּהָ) נִמְצֵאת בַּתּוֹרָה. הַתּוֹרָה הִיא כֹּחַ הַיָּמִין, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (דברים לג) מִימִינוֹ אֵשׁ דָּת לָמוֹ. וְהַשְּׂמֹאל נִכְלָל בַּיָּמִין. מִי שֶׁעוֹשֶׂה יָמִין שְׂמֹאל וּשְׂמֹאל יָמִין, הֲרֵי הוּא כְּאִלּוּ מַחֲרִיב עוֹלָם.<\/div>\n

Zohar Korach<\/strong><\/p>\n

Numbers 16:1<\/a>
\n“וַיִּקַּח קֹרַח, בֶּן-יִצְהָר בֶּן-קְהָת בֶּן-לֵוִי”
\n“And Korah, son of Izhar, son of Kohath, son of Levi, took”
\nPsalms 19:11<\/a>
\n“הַנֶּחֱמָדִים–מִזָּהָב, וּמִפַּז רָב; וּמְתוּקִים מִדְּבַשׁ, וְנֹפֶת צוּפִים”
\n“More to be desired are they then gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb.”<\/p>\n

Rabbi Aba opens the study quoting the above verse and continues: how supreme are the words of Torah, and how honored they are. They are loved above and they are loved by all. The Torah words are the Holy Name and anyone who wants to do his best with the study of Torah, he does it with the Holy Name and is saved from all evil; he is saved in this world and saved in the world to come.
\nCome and see: whoever studies well the Torah is holding to the Tree of Life<\/a> and becomes part of it. As it is written in Proverbs 3:18<\/a>
\n“עֵץ-חַיִּים הִיא, לַמַּחֲזִיקִים בָּהּ; וְתֹמְכֶיהָ מְאֻשָּׁר”
\n“She is a tree of life<\/a> to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called blessed.”<\/p>\n
