Zohar Balak<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nSihon came to attack Israel<\/a> and lost most of his land. Og made war against the Israelites<\/a> and lost everything.
\nNumbers 21:35<\/a>
\n“וַיַּכּוּ אֹתוֹ וְאֶת-בָּנָיו וְאֶת-כָּל-עַמּוֹ, עַד-בִּלְתִּי הִשְׁאִיר-לוֹ שָׂרִיד; וַיִּירְשׁוּ, אֶת-אַרְצוֹ”
\n“So they killed him and his sons and all his people, until there was no remnant left him; and they possessed his land.”
\nBalak was a wise man. He saw all that the Israelites<\/a> did to those who came against them and feared the Israelites<\/a>. He knew that he cannot beat them on the physical level so he decided to use spiritual forces to stop the Israelites<\/a>. He called Balaam to do the job as we studied in previous DZ. The plan was to disconnect the Israelites<\/a> from the Tree of Life<\/a> by using a curse. Balaam was on the level of the Sefira of Da’at of the impure system. He was a good choice for Balak to go against Moses that is Da’at of the pure system.
\nBalaam couldn’t curse the Israelites<\/a> because their camps were protected by the Holy Tabernacle and the way they arranged the camps around it.<\/p>\n

The only available option to hurt the Israelites<\/a> on a spiritual level was through the level of Yessod<\/a>. Yessod<\/a> is where the Light from the upper 8 Sefirot gathered together and delivered to Malchut<\/a>. In the body Yessod<\/a> is the aspect of the sexual organs. Balak sent the most beautiful women to temp Moses with sex. If his plan were to succeed, Moses would have dropped from his level of Da’at to Yessod<\/a> and drained his energy to the Malchut<\/a> of the other side<\/a>. That would have destroyed the entire connection of the Israelites<\/a> to the Tree of Life<\/a> and as a result the entire world would have collapsed because if there are no Israelites<\/a> and Torah to draw Light to the world, the world cannot exist.
\nThe Medianite women saw Zimri, the head of the tribe of Shimon who was a handsome and charismatic person and mistook him for Moses and the damage was not catastrophic.<\/p>\n

Because of the individual interaction God didn’t interfere. They came against one individual. In that case the system of God couldn’t do anything for him. Zimri didn’t even ask for help. He had to make a choice between good and bad but he fell into the hands and magic of the women. He died and with him 24 thousands of his people.
\nLesson: The world is governed by God’s major plan and it cannot be changed. On the individual level we have to make a choice and decide to be on the winning side or the losing side. By ‘winning’ I mean Final Redemption and Immortality.<\/p>\n
