\n15. וְאִם תֹּאמַר שֶׁהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא רָצָה כָּךְ וְלֹא מִן הַדִּין – בֹּא וּרְאֵה. עֵשָׂו קְלִפָּה הָיָה וְצַד אַחֵר הָיָה. כֵּיוָן שֶׁיָּצְאָה קְלִפָּה וְהָעָבְרָה, הֲרֵי הַמֹּחַ מָצוּי (שִׁפְחָה), עָרְלָה רִאשׁוֹנָה עוֹמֶדֶת בַּחוּץ. בְּרִית הִיא (גְּדוֹלָה וְעֶלְיוֹנָה) וְנִכְבָּדָה מֵהַכֹּל, וְהִיא מִתְגַּלָּה אַחַר כָּךְ.<\/div>\n

Zohar Balak<\/strong><\/p>\n

We learned previously that when people had sexual relationships with women from the other side<\/a> they created spiritual corruption on the level of Yessod<\/a>, and that brought death to them.
\nExodus 4:22<\/a>
\n“וְאָמַרְתָּ, אֶל-פַּרְעֹה: כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה, בְּנִי בְכֹרִי יִשְׂרָאֵל”
\n“Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says YHVH<\/a>, Israel<\/a> is my firstborn son,”
\nGod sends Moses to tell Pharaoh that Israel<\/a> is his first born son.
\nWe know that Esau was born before Jacob. Jacob was later called Israel<\/a>. He was the father of the twelve tribes and because of his name we are all called Israelites<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Zohar explains that Esau was a Klipah<\/a> and from the other side<\/a>. The word Klipah<\/a> means ‘shell’, like the shell of a fruit that always comes before the fruit. Esau came first and is the aspect of the foreskin. Jacob came after and is the aspect of the head of the penis that delivers the Light.
\nEven though Esau came out first, he was a Klipah<\/a> and couldn’t be considered as the first born.<\/p>\n

The verse above is the first mission given to Moses. Before even asking Pharaoh to let the Israelites<\/a> go, he needed to tell him ‘Israel<\/a> is my firstborn son’.
\nThat means that the Israelites<\/a> carry the Light and no Klipah<\/a> can stop them from coming out.<\/p>\n

Lesson: Before the Light can be revealed, we need to break the Klipah<\/a> that blocks it. The Klipah<\/a> is ‘thicker’ at the beginning but as the Light inside (fruit) grows, the Klipah<\/a> gets thinner. Our life is a process of overcoming challenges that come from the Klipah<\/a>. We need to use the Light to break through it. Attaching ourselves to the Klipah<\/a> may give us comfortable feelings because there are no challenges. But sooner or later the little Light inside will be lost and the Klipah<\/a> will get dried out and gone, not before we lose everything.<\/p>\n

Embrace your challenges because they conceal the Light that you need.<\/p>\n
