\nPsalms 19:9<\/a> “…the Mitzvah (precept) of God is pure, enlightening the eyes.”
\nMitzvah is usually translated as a commandment but it is not so. It is an opportunity to connect to the light and manifest it in our life.
\nFrom this verse we learn that the Mitzvah brings light of Chokmah<\/a> and the eyes are the important connection.
\nThe First time God refers to the Torah is when he initiated Joshua into the leadership of the nation. In Joshua 1:7<\/a> God tells Him
\n“רַק חֲזַק וֶאֱמַץ מְאֹד, לִשְׁמֹר לַעֲשׂוֹת כְּכָל-הַתּוֹרָה–אֲשֶׁר צִוְּךָ מֹשֶׁה עַבְדִּי”, “Only be strong and very courageous, to observe to do according to all the law, which Moses My servant commanded you”.
\nGod is not saying “The Torah that I gave Moses” but, “The Torah the Moses revealed”. God cannot claim ownership on the Torah because it is limited. God’s Torah has no limits. The secret is that God’s Torah was the one that was broken on Mount Sinai because of the sin of the Golden calf.
\nThe idea here is that the revelation of the light follows the channel for it. In this case the Torah is the light that is revealed by Moses.
\nIn the next verse 1:8<\/a>, God says
\n“…כִּי-אָז תַּצְלִיחַ אֶת-דְּרָכֶךָ, וְאָז תַּשְׂכִּיל לֹא-יָמוּשׁ סֵפֶר הַתּוֹרָה הַזֶּה מִפִּיךָ, וְהָגִיתָ בּוֹ יוֹמָם וָלַיְלָה”,
\n“This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate therein day and night… then you shall have good success”.
\nThe Zohar gives us the opportunity to connect to the meditation and discussions of Rabbi Shimon, his son, Moses, Elijah and the friends. Zohar study can draw down the light from the first Torah for us, which was pure Tree of Life<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
