1. וְעָנְשׁוּ אֹתוֹ מֵאָה כֶסֶף וְגוֹ’ (דברים כב). מִצְוָה זוֹ לָדוּן בְּדִין מוֹצִיא שֵׁם רָע, זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב וְעָנְשׁוּ אֹתוֹ מֵאָה כֶסֶף וְנָתְנוּ לַאֲבִי הַנַּעֲרָה כִּי הוֹצִיא שֵׁם רָע עַל בְּתוּלַת יִשְׂרָאֵל. רַבּוֹתֵינוּ, וְזֶהוּ אַחַר נִשּׂוּאִין, שֶׁאָמַר לֹא מָצָאתִי לְבִתְּךָ בְּתוּלִים. וְלֹא כָּל שֵׁם רָע שָׁקוּל, שֶׁמְּרַגְּלִים שֶׁהוֹצִיא שֵׁם רָע עַל הָאָרֶץ נֶעֶנְשׁוּ בִגְלָלָהּ וּמֵתוּ, וְלֹא זָכוּ בָהּ. וְאִשָּׁה הִיא קַרְקַע בָּאָרֶץ, כְּמוֹ שֶׁבֵּאֲרוּהָ, אֶסְתֵּר קַרְקַע עוֹלָם הָיְתָה.
\n2. וְאִם תֹּאמְרוּ, שֵׁם רָע עָלֶיהָ, שֶׁנִּטְמְאָה בַאֲחַשְׁוֵרוֹשׁ, וְזָכְתָה לְהִתְלַבֵּשׁ בָּהּ רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ, זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (אסתר ה) וַתִּלְבַּשׁ אֶסְתֵּר מַלְכוּת. הֲרֵי אָמַר הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא, (ישעיה מב) אֲנִי ה’ הוּא שְׁמִי וּכְבוֹדִי לְאַחֵר לֹא אֶתֵּן וּתְהִלָּתִי לַפְּסִילִים. וְרוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ שְׁכִינָה הָיְתָה, שֶׁהִיא שֵׁם שֶׁהִתְלַבְּשָׁה בְאֶסְתֵּר.
\n3. אֲבָל רַבּוֹתֵינוּ, אוֹי לְאוֹתָם שֶׁאוֹכְלִים תֶּבֶן תְּבֶל שֶׁל הַתּוֹרָה (חֲמוֹ”ר שֶׁל הַתּוֹרָה שֶׁנֶּחְשָׁב חָ’כָם מֻ’פְלָא וְ’רַב רַ’בָּנָן) וְלֹא יוֹדֵעַ בְּסִתְרֵי תוֹרָה, אֶלָּא קַלִּים וַחֲמוּרִים שֶׁל הַתּוֹרָה. קַלִּים תֶּבֶן שֶׁל הַתּוֹרָה. וְחֻמְרָה שֶׁל הַתּוֹרָה חִטָּה, חֵט ה’, עֵץ שֶׁל טוֹב וָרָע.<\/div>\n

Zohar Ki Tetze<\/strong><\/p>\n

Deuteronomy 22:19<\/a>
\n“ וְעָנְשׁוּ אֹתוֹ מֵאָה כֶסֶף, וְנָתְנוּ לַאֲבִי הַנַּעֲרָה–כִּי הוֹצִיא שֵׁם רָע, עַל בְּתוּלַת יִשְׂרָאֵל; וְלוֹ-תִהְיֶה לְאִשָּׁה, לֹא-יוּכַל לְשַׁלְּחָהּ כָּל-יָמָיו”
\n“and they shall fine him a hundred shekels of silver and give it to the girl’s father, because he publicly defamed a virgin of Israel<\/a>. And she shall remain his wife; he cannot divorce her all his days.”<\/p>\n

The Torah portion of Ki Tetze is full of precepts and at the end of it we have the special paragraph of “Remember Amalek” “ זכור את עמלק” that we read before Purim and it is a must for every Israelites<\/a> to listen to this part of the Torah. There are many reasons to why it is read before Purim but that explanation in for another time.<\/p>\n

All of the precepts are made for us to support us in the process of cleansing our souls. The verse above describes the ‘punishment’ of a person if he publically claims that his wife was not virgin when she married him and later was found that he was not telling the truth.<\/p>\n

The Zohar brings here a deep explanation and connects the sin of the spies to their evil speech against the Land God promised them (the full story in Numbers chapters 13 and 14).<\/p>\n

The woman is the aspect of Malchut<\/a>, the Land of Israel<\/a> and the Shechina. Those who go against the truth and honor of the Shechina cause evil speech and they will be punished.<\/p>\n

Esther 5:1<\/a>
\n“ וַתִּלְבַּשׁ אֶסְתֵּר מַלְכוּת”
\n“…and Esther dressed royal (‘Malchut<\/a>’)”
\nThe story of the Bible about Esther and King Ahasuerus raises doubts about the purity of Esther. The Zohar reveals to us that the king wasn’t intimate with the real Esther but with another entity that took over Esther’s image.<\/p>\n

Lesson<\/strong>: Israel<\/a> is the base for the Shechina and Malchut<\/a> for the world. The nations that go against Israel<\/a> are spreading enormous evil speech that will come back to hurt them. There are so many terrible crimes done by other nations of the world, even against their own people, but the world is quite. It’s easy to attack the small state of Israel<\/a> that defends itself, demanding restrictions never heard of or seen before in the history of humanity. When it comes to negativity, the Torah commands us to destroy everything without leaving roots to grow back. The IDF may have made a mistake stopping soon but this negativity already has spread far and wide. It’s no longer Hamas in Gaza but radical Islam all over the world. It looks like they are getting stronger all over but the cleansing power of God will reach them soon.<\/p>\n
