\n8. אוֹי לְאוֹתָם שֶׁיְּשֵׁנִים וְשֵׁנָה בִּנְחִירֵיהֶם, לֹא יוֹדְעִים וְלֹא מִסְתַּכְּלִים אֵיךְ יָקוּמוּ בַּדִּין כְּשֶׁהַחֶשְׁבּוֹן נִמְנֶה, כְּשֶׁנִּטְמָא הַגּוּף, וְהַנְּשָׁמָה מְשׁוֹטֶטֶת עַל פְּנֵי הָאֲוִיר שֶׁמֵּאִיר וְעוֹלָה וְיוֹרֶדֶת, וְהַשְּׁעָרִים לֹא נִפְתָּחִים, וּמִתְגַּלְגְּלִים כַּאֲבָנִים בְּתוֹךְ הַקֶּלַע. אוֹי לָהֶם! מִי יְבַקֵּשׁ אוֹתָם שֶׁלֹּא יָקוּמוּ בַתַּעֲנוּג הַזֶּה? בְּתוֹךְ הַמְּקוֹמוֹת שֶׁל עִנּוּגֵי הַצַּדִּיקִים וְנִפְקָד מְקוֹמָם. וְנִמְסָרִים בִּידֵי דוּמָה, יוֹרְדִים וְלֹא עוֹלִים. עֲלֵיהֶם כָּתוּב (איוב ז) כָּלָה עָנָן וַיֵּלַךְ כֵּן יוֹרֵד שְׁאוֹל לֹא יַעֲלֶה.<\/div>\n

Zohar Lech Lecha<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ears are on the level of Binah<\/a> and their light is called ‘listening’. The eyes are on the level of Chokmah<\/a> and their light is called ‘seeing’.
\nAfter midnight, a voice in heavens announces: “for the holy heroes, who have ears to listen, eyes to see and heart to know”. From the force revealed by this announcement the righteous are awakened from their sleep and study Torah.<\/p>\n

The ‘announcer’ is the Light of the upper three Sefirot that begins to be revealed after midnight. Chokmah<\/a> represented by the eyes, Binah<\/a> by the ears, and the knowing heart is for Da’at. The Zohar explains that at night there is judgment in the world and no Light from the upper levels. The eyes and ears are shut until after midnight.
\nThe righteous sense the energy shift and their eyes are opened, they get up and do their night study. The Light of Chassadim<\/a> that is revealed at that time gets stronger because of the study of the righteous people.<\/p>\n

From the upper level the Light of Chokmah<\/a> and Binah<\/a> are funneled down through Da’at to the central column. The study of the righteous creates vessels that connect to Yessod<\/a> and the central column. The Light then spreads to the entire world.<\/p>\n

If one has the merit and finds himself with open eyes after midnight then it could be a strong message for him to get up and do a study. It’s an excellent opportunity to reveal Light in his life and others’.<\/p>\n

Many people already have a habit of setting up an alarm to wake them up after midnight for a short study. Best time study time is Friday after midnight and before dawn to connect to Light of Chassadim<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
