4. אַחַר שֶׁחָטָא, הַכֹּל הִסְתַּלֵּק מֵהָעוֹלָם וְהִתְקַלְּלָה הָאָרֶץ. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (בראשית ג) אֲרוּרָה הָאֲדָמָה בַּעֲבוּרֶךָ וְגוֹ’, וְכתוּב כִּי תַעֲבֹד אֶת הָאֲדָמָה לֹא תֹסֵף תֵּת כֹּחָהּ לָךְ וְגוֹ’, וְכָתוּב וְקוֹץ וְדַרְדַּר תַּצְמִיחַ לָךְ.

Zohar Vayera<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nGenesis 3:17<\/a>
\n“וּלְאָדָם אָמַר, כִּי-שָׁמַעְתָּ לְקוֹל אִשְׁתֶּךָ, וַתֹּאכַל מִן-הָעֵץ, אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִיךָ לֵאמֹר לֹא תֹאכַל מִמֶּנּוּ–אֲרוּרָה הָאֲדָמָה, בַּעֲבוּרֶךָ, בְּעִצָּבוֹן תֹּאכְלֶנָּה, כֹּל יְמֵי חַיֶּיךָ.”
\n“And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;”<\/p>\n

After the sin God cursed the ground and man lost the forces that allowed him to control nature.<\/p>\n

The next verse says: “thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field.”<\/p>\n

Noah corrected the cursed earth with different tools that he made and the earth turned fruitful. His generation sinned and again they lost that power until Abraham came and opened a channel to the upper levels. Because of that, God could speak to him and show him how the spiritual system works.<\/p>\n

The world benefited from God’s revelation to Abraham and the covenant he made with him. 72 hours after Abraham circumcised himself God revealed himself to Abraham with the words that we read at the beginning of the portion.<\/p>\n

Genesis 18:1<\/a>
\n“וַיֵּרָא אֵלָיו יְהוָה, בְּאֵלֹנֵי מַמְרֵא; וְהוּא יֹשֵׁב פֶּתַח-הָאֹהֶל, כְּחֹם הַיּוֹם”
\n“And YHVH<\/a> appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat at the door of his tent in the heat of the day”<\/p>\n

The Zohar explains that before the circumcision<\/a> God spoke to Abraham from a lower level that is called ‘Malchut<\/a>. After the circumcision<\/a> the negative aspect of Yessod<\/a> was removed and light could flow to Malchut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The circumcision<\/a> is the removal of the foreskin that covers the head of the penis that is the aspect of Yessod<\/a>.
\nThe foreskin is a Klipah<\/a> that blocks the light and interferes with the flow of Light to Malchut<\/a>. Even if some light could pass, it can easily become impure because of the foreskin.<\/p>\n

Many Israelites<\/a> souls become attracted to Zohar Kabbalah but as long as the person doesn’t remove the foreskin from his penis, he can not make a full and true connection with the Light. The negative side can easily distract him from the path. A woman with Israelite soul is much stronger in her faith<\/a> because for women it’s just a transformation of the heart.<\/p>\n

If you are not circumcised and you feel that your soul brings you closer to the Light, you have to act quickly before the other side<\/a> pulls you away. You may or may not go through full conversion later but if you want to feel the light on higher levels then act and cut as soon as you can. Abraham did it on himself but I do not recommend in home process. Ask a local Rabbi or check online on this procedure. Your light depends on it.<\/p>\n
