Zohar Terumah<\/strong>
\nContinued from previous DZ<\/p>\n

When the Apiryon is completed with the sixth level, it receives holiness and ascends to the upper levels for a state of rest that is a holy name that is called שבת Shabbat.
\nShabbat means rest from work and in this state the Apiryon has affinity with the holy level of Binah<\/a> and can fill itself with the desired light of fulfillment.<\/p>\n

Song of Songs 3:9<\/a>
\n“אַפִּרְיוֹן, עָשָׂה לוֹ הַמֶּלֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹה–מֵעֲצֵי, הַלְּבָנוֹן”
\n“King Solomon made himself a palanquin of the trees of Lebanon ”<\/p>\n

The trees of Lebanon are the lights that came from the Endless to build the six sefirot of Zeir Anpin<\/a>, which are vessels of light. Each level is different and altogether with Yessod<\/a> that holds them all together they become one vessel that can connect and draw the light from Binah<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Song of Songs 2:3<\/a>
\n“בְּצִלּוֹ חִמַּדְתִּי וְיָשַׁבְתִּי, וּפִרְיוֹ מָתוֹק לְחִכִּי”
\n“I sat in his shadow, and his fruit was sweet to my taste”<\/p>\n

Rabbi Shimon explains that those who merit to connect to the Apiryon, which is all the levels of Zeir Anpin<\/a>, are winners because they can rest in the shadow of the Holy One Blessed be He inside the Apiryon. When we prepare and decorate the place of rest for its level of holiness we merit to have the trees of the Apiryon bestowing greater light on us. This is the aspect of preparing our vessels during the week to receive the Light of Shabbat.<\/p>\n

\nExodus 25:2<\/a>
\n“דַּבֵּר אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְיִקְחוּ-לִי תְּרוּמָה: מֵאֵת כָּל-אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִדְּבֶנּוּ לִבּוֹ, תִּקְחוּ אֶת-תְּרוּמָתִי”
\n“Speak to the people of Israel<\/a>, that they take for me a contribution. From every man whose heart moves him you shall receive the contribution for me.”<\/p>\n

Rabbi Shimon quotes this verse that opens the portion of Terumah and explains that if we wish to make spiritual connection to the Holy One Blessed be He, we should make efforts to receive it. We should not accept anything back if we came to the light with empty hands.<\/p>\n

The verse above teaches us that God didn’t force everyone to make donation. He instructed Moses to ask and accept contributions only from those with the open heart to give. The ‘open heart’ is a state of consciousness and the contribution is the effort that creates the vessel. With this combination, the Light can flow into the vessel. The term of ‘Bread of Shame’ is a fundamental element in the study of Kabbalah. Its meaning is that we must earn everything we have or wish to have in this world. If we benefit from something without earning it then it adds to our ‘bread of shame’ and we’ll have to correct it sooner or later.
\nWe should open our hearts give back to those who help, teach and support our connection to the Light.<\/p>\n
