\n21. אָמַר רַבִּי חִיָּיא, כָּךְ זֶה וַדַּאי, אֲבָל רָאִינוּ וְכָךְ רָאוּ גִּבּוֹרֵי הָעוֹלָם, שֶׁהֲרֵי הַגָּלוּת נִמְשֶׁכֶת וַעֲדַיִן בֶּן דָּוִד לֹא בָא. אָמַר רַבִּי יוֹסֵי, וְכָל זֶה כָּךְ הוּא, אֲבָל מִי עָשָׂה שֶׁיִּסְבְּלוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת הַגָּלוּת הַזּוֹ? כָּל אוֹתָן הַבְטָחוֹת שֶׁהִבְטִיחַ לָהֶם הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא. וַהֲרֵי זֶה נִתְבָּאֵר, שֶׁנִּכְנָסִים לְבָתֵּי כְּנֵסִיּוֹת וּלְבָתֵּי מִדְרָשׁוֹת וְרוֹאִים כָּל אוֹתָן נֶחָמוֹת, וּשְׂמֵחִים בְּלִבָּם לִסְבֹּל אֶת כָּל מַה שֶּׁיָּבֹא עֲלֵיהֶם, וְלוּלֵא זֶה לֹא יָכְלוּ לִסְבֹּל.<\/div>\n

Zohar Ki Tisa<\/strong><\/p>\n

The nations of the world feel greater than the Israelites<\/a> because the exile is long and Mashiach did not come yet.
\nThe sufferings that the Israelites<\/a> go through are sweetened when we read the holy scriptures and the promises God gave the Israelites<\/a>. The joy of having the promised future is the energy that supports them with the long suffering of the exile.<\/p>\n

From the prophecy of Isaiah.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 40:8<\/a>
\n“יָבֵשׁ חָצִיר, נָבֵל צִיץ; וּדְבַר-אֱלֹהֵינוּ, יָקוּם לְעוֹלָם.”
\n“The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.”<\/p>\n

Isaiah 40:9<\/a>
\n“עַל הַר-גָּבֹהַּ עֲלִי-לָךְ, מְבַשֶּׂרֶת צִיּוֹן, הָרִימִי בַכֹּחַ קוֹלֵךְ, מְבַשֶּׂרֶת יְרוּשָׁלִָם; הָרִימִי, אַל-תִּירָאִי, אִמְרִי לְעָרֵי יְהוּדָה, הִנֵּה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם”
