28. אָמַר הַמֶּלֶךְ: בִּשְׁבִילֵךְ אַחֲזִיר אוֹתוֹ, וְאַתְּ הָעֲרֵבָה שֶׁלּוֹ. אָמְרָה: הֲרֵי וַדַּאי. אָמַר הַמֶּלֶךְ: הוֹאִיל וְכָךְ הוּא, לֹא צָרִיךְ לְהַחֲזִירוֹ בַּיּוֹם בְּגָלוּי, שֶׁבּוּשָׁה עֲבוּרֵנוּ לָלֶכֶת בִּשְׁבִילוֹ לְבֵית זוֹנוֹת. וְאִם לֹא הָיָה כְּמוֹ זֶה שֶׁטִּנֵּף אֶת עַצְמוֹ כָּךְ וְחִלֵּל כְּבוֹדִי, הָיִיתִי אֲנִי וְכָל הַחֲיָלוֹת שֶׁלִּי הוֹלְכִים בִּשְׁבִילוֹ בְּכַמָּה כָבוֹד וּבְכַמָּה חֲצוֹצְרוֹת לְפָנָיו, בְּכַמָּה כְּלֵי קְרָב מִימִינוֹ וּמִשְּׂמֹאלוֹ, עַד שֶׁכָּל בְּנֵי הָעוֹלָם יִזְדַּעְזְעוּ, וְיֵדְעוּ כֻלָּם שֶׁהוּא בֶּן הַמֶּלֶךְ. עַכְשָׁו כֵּיוָן שֶׁהוּא טִנֵּף אֶת עַצְמוֹ וְחִלֵּל אֶת כְּבוֹדִי, הוּא יַחֲזֹר בְּסֵתֶר שֶׁלֹּא יַכִּירוּ בוֹ. חָזַר לַמֶּלֶךְ, וְנָתַן אוֹתוֹ לְאִמּוֹ.
\n29. לְיָמִים סָרַח כְּמִקֹּדֶם. מֶה עָשָׂה הַמֶּלֶךְ? הוֹצִיא אוֹתוֹ וְאֶת אִמּוֹ עִמּוֹ מִתּוֹךְ הַהֵיכָל וְאָמַר: תֵּלְכוּ שְׁנֵיכֶם, וּשְׁנֵיכֶם תִּסְבְּלוּ אֶת הַגָּלוּת וְהַמַּלְקוּת שָׁם. כֵּיוָן שֶׁשְּׁנֵיכֶם תִּסְבְּלוּ כְאֶחָד, אֲזַי אֵדַע שֶׁבְּנִי יָשׁוּב כָּרָאוּי.
\n30. כָּךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל, בְּנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ הַקָּדוֹשׁ הֵם, הוֹרִיד אוֹתָם לְמִצְרַיִם. וְאִם תֹּאמַר שֶׁבְּאוֹתוֹ זְמַן לֹא חָטְאוּ – הַגְּזֵרָה שֶׁגָּזַר הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא בִּבְרִית בֵּין הַבְּתָרִים הָיְתָה רְאוּיָה לְהִתְקַיֵּם, וְהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא הִשְׁגִּיחַ עַל שְׁנֵי דְבָרִים: אֶחָד עַל אוֹתוֹ דִבּוּר שֶׁאָמַר אַבְרָהָם (בראשית טז) בַּמָּה אֵדַע כִּי אִירָשֶׁנָּה, זוֹהִי סִבָּה וְעִלָּה. אֲבָל עַד שֶׁיָּצְאוּ מִמִּצְרַיִם לֹא הָיוּ גוֹי וְלֹא הָיוּ רְאוּיִים כָּרָאוּי.<\/div>\n

Zohar Ki Tisa<\/strong><\/p>\n

The process of exile was planned by God from the beginning. When God made the covenant with Abraham (then he was Abram) he revealed that there will be a hard process until<\/p>\n

Genesis 15:5<\/a>
\n“וַיּוֹצֵא אֹתוֹ הַחוּצָה, וַיֹּאמֶר הַבֶּט-נָא הַשָּׁמַיְמָה וּסְפֹר הַכּוֹכָבִים–אִם-תּוּכַל, לִסְפֹּר אֹתָם; וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ, כֹּה יִהְיֶה זַרְעֶךָ”
\n“And He took him outside and said, “Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.””<\/p>\n

God took Abram out and showed him the plan for the future. Abram saw it but didn’t see himself as part of the plan. He asked God in Genesis 15:8<\/a>
\n“וַיֹּאמַר: אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה, בַּמָּה אֵדַע כִּי אִירָשֶׁנָּה”
\n“He said, “O Lord GOD, how may I know that I will possess it?””<\/p>\n

Then God took him through the process of the covenant, binding him to the right column<\/a> and telling him:
\nGenesis 15:13<\/a>
\n“וַיֹּאמֶר לְאַבְרָם, יָדֹעַ תֵּדַע כִּי-גֵר יִהְיֶה זַרְעֲךָ בְּאֶרֶץ לֹא לָהֶם, וַעֲבָדוּם, וְעִנּוּ אֹתָם–אַרְבַּע מֵאוֹת, שָׁנָה”
\n“descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, where they will be enslaved and oppressed four hundred years”<\/p>\n

The Israelites<\/a> were in exile in Egypt only for 210 years. The number 400 mentioned in the verse represents complete process that connects the souls of all Israelites<\/a> on all levels and aspects of the YHVH<\/a> name.<\/p>\n

God also promised a day when He will release us from the difficult process.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 51:22<\/a>
\n“כֹּה-אָמַר אֲדֹנַיִךְ יְהוָה, וֵאלֹהַיִךְ יָרִיב עַמּוֹ, הִנֵּה לָקַחְתִּי מִיָּדֵךְ, אֶת-כּוֹס הַתַּרְעֵלָה–אֶת-קֻבַּעַת כּוֹס חֲמָתִי, לֹא-תוֹסִיפִי לִשְׁתּוֹתָהּ עוֹד”
\n“Thus says your Lord, YHVH<\/a>, even your God Who contends for His people, “Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of reeling, The chalice of My anger; You will never drink it again”<\/p>\n
