\n19. שְׁנֵי בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן הִקְרִיבוּ אֵשׁ זָרָה, שֶׁלֹּא יִחֲדוּ אֶל שְׁמוֹ כָּרָאוּי וְנִשְׂרְפוּ בָאֵשׁ. רַבִּי יִצְחָק אָמַר, כָּתוּב אַחֲרֵי מוֹת, וְכָתוּב וַיָּמֻתוּ. כֵּיוָן שֶׁאָמַר אַחֲרֵי מוֹת שְׁנֵי בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן, לֹא יָדַעְנוּ שֶׁהֲרֵי וַיָּמֻתוּ? אֶלָּא כָּךְ שָׁנִינוּ, שְׁתֵּי מִיתוֹת הָיוּ, אַחַת לִפְנֵי ה’, וְאַחַת שֶׁלֹּא הָיוּ לָהֶם בָּנִים. שֶׁכָּל מִי שֶׁלֹּא זוֹכֶה לְבָנִים, הוּא מֵת. מִשּׁוּם כָּךְ, אַחֲרֵי מוֹת, וַיָּמֻתוּ.<\/div>\n

Zohar Acharei Mot<\/strong>

God continued and asked his throne, which is Malchut<\/a>, “My throne, with which words should I save these righteous?” The throne answered, suggesting using the word “Jacob” that the Babylonians laughed about.<\/p>\n

Jacob was the one that brought honor to God by establishing the central column. Abraham was saved from fire because of the merit of his grandson, Jacob.<\/p>\n

Also in this case, God chose to use the merit of Jacob to save them so the nations of the world could see how he protects those who follow him. None of them is allowed to laugh on His people.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 29:22<\/a>
\n“לָכֵן, כֹּה-אָמַר יְהוָה אֶל-בֵּית יַעֲקֹב, אֲשֶׁר פָּדָה, אֶת-אַבְרָהָם: לֹא-עַתָּה יֵבוֹשׁ יַעֲקֹב, וְלֹא עַתָּה פָּנָיו יֶחֱוָרוּ”
\n“Therefore thus says YHVH<\/a>, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: “Jacob shall not now be ashamed, nor shall his face now turn pale;”<\/p>\n

One of the many lessons from this Zohar is that we should use the sacred text to make direct connection to the light. If we use our own words then it would be dependent on our own merit. In most cases it is close to none even if we think that we did a lot of good things.
\nUsing the sacred text of the Torah and Zohar brings us closer to the Light because these words already opened channel to the upper levels.<\/p>\n

I hear about Kabbalah teachers that focus on the moral aspect of the study without using a Zohar or Torah books. We got that in kindergarten and we don’t need Kabbalah teachers to teach us to be good people.
\nStudents of Kabbalah and Zohar should look for classrooms where they can study Kabbalah from the Zohar books and books written by great kabbalists. The deeper study of Torah reveals great light that benefits us and the world.
\nJacob was given the name Israel<\/a> for winning over the negative side. The state of Israel<\/a> was named after him so all the Israelites<\/a> around the world can come to the Holy Land and call it home.<\/p>\n

Most of the world is against Israel<\/a> and we see many anti-Israel demonstrations in the world with radicals screaming “Death to Israel<\/a>”. They are insulting the God of Israel<\/a> like Goliath, the Philistine (Read 1 Samuel chapter 17<\/a>)<\/p>\n

All we need is a little David with 5 stones (representing the hand of God through the five books of the Torah). God is with us and all we need to ‘activate’ his powers to protect us is to use the sacred words. The studies of the Zohar connect us to the merits of Rabbi Shimon, Moses, Elijah (Pinchas) and all the channels in the Torah that the Zohar opens and reveals for us. This is how our prayers are heard above and can draw the light that we need to protect us and the world.<\/p>\n
