\n17. חֲמוּץ בְּגָדִים מִבָּצְרָה, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁמִּמֶּנָּה יָצְאוּ אוּכְלוּסֵי הָעוֹלָם לִצְבֹּא עַל יְרוּשָׁלַיִם, וְהֵם הִתְחִילוּ לִשְׂרֹף אֶת הַהֵיכָל, וּבְנֵי אֱדוֹם מְהָרְסִים אֶת הַחוֹמוֹת, וְעָקְרוּ אֶת אַבְנֵי הַיְסוֹד. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (תהלים קלז) זְכֹר ה’ לִבְנֵי אֱדוֹם וְגוֹ’, הָאֹמְרִים עָרוּ עָרוּ עַד הַיְסוֹד בָּהּ.<\/div>\n

\nZohar Emor<\/strong><\/p>\n

Isaiah 34:6<\/a>
\n“כִּי זֶבַח לַיהוָה בְּבָצְרָה, וְטֶבַח גָּדוֹל בְּאֶרֶץ אֱדוֹם”
\n“For YHVH<\/a> has a sacrifice in Basra And a great slaughter in the land of Edom.”<\/p>\n

The Zohar reveals that in the future the Holy One Blessed be He, will wear garments of vengeance on the nation of Edom because they destroyed, burned the Holy Temple and sent the Israelites<\/a> into exile among the nations of the world. The vengeance will be a final one and all the mountains of the worlds will be filled with the dead of the nations.
\nThe birds of the sky will eat the corps and the animal of the field will feed on them for 12 months. The birds of the sky for seven years until the earth won’t carry them anymore.
\nBasra today is a place in Iraq close to the border with Iran. It represents the forces of the Assyrian and Babylonian Empires that destroyed the first Temple and took the Israelites<\/a> into exile. They are east of the Holy Land.<\/p>\n

The land of Edom represents the forces and destruction that came from west of the Holy Land. These are the Roman and all the enemies of the Israelites<\/a>. The word Edom also means ‘red’, a color that represents the left column<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The verse above from Isaiah’s prophecy gives us hope that one day, God will help us remove all our enemies. The verse is included in a song by Rabbi Shimon ben Yitzchak that we usually sing during the second meal of Shabbat to connect us to the end of the exile and the Final Redemption.<\/p>\n

We are close to seeing the fulfillment of this prophecy. In the East we have Iran getting ready to arm long range missiles with nuclear war heads. ISIS is about to take over Syria and Iraq, assimilating the armies of these countries into ISIS, building more power against Israel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the West we have blind and hostile world. The current US president, who is seen by many as a reincarnation of Pharaoh, is very hostile to Israel<\/a>, to say the least. Pharaoh lost his control over the Israelites<\/a> before and now he doesn’t want to lose again. We can easily find many social media posts, books and YouTube videos showing his roots and pro Muslim agenda.

We can no longer get help from politicians. Most of them (all over the world) are driven by greed of money and power. Only God can change the direction of the world and, as the prophecies tell us, it wouldn’t be easy. Our only protection from world chaos is clinging to the Zohar with daily study. The light that radiates from it surrounds us with envelope of protection like a life-saver. The more Zohar we study, the greater light of mercy we reveal and help the entire world.<\/p>\n
