25. בְּאוֹתוֹ זְמַן מִצְוָה לִתְקֹעַ בַּשּׁוֹפָר בַּיּוֹבֵל. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (שם יח) כִּנְשֹׂא נֵס הָרִים תִּרְאוּ וְכִתְקֹעַ שׁוֹפָר תִּשְׁמָעוּ. כְּמוֹ שֶׁבִּתְקִיעַת שׁוֹפַר הַיּוֹבֵל כָּל הָעֲבָדִים יוֹצְאִים לְחֵרוּת, כָּךְ בַּגְּאֻלָּה הָאַחֲרוֹנָה בִּתְקִיעַת שׁוֹפָר מִתְכַּנְּסִים כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאַרְבַּעַת צִדְדֵי הָעוֹלָם, שֶׁהֵם עַבְדֵי הַיּוֹבֵל. שֶׁבְּבַעֲלֵי תוֹרָה, יֵשׁ בָּהֶם עֲבָדִים עַל מְנָת לְקַבֵּל פְּרָס, וְנִקְרָאִים עַבְדֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ וְהַגְּבִירָה. אֲבָל בְּנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ הַקָּדוֹשׁ – (שמות יט) וָאֶשָּׂא אֶתְכֶם עַל כַּנְפֵי נְשָׁרִים וָאָבִא אֶתְכֶם אֵלָי, שֶׁהֵם כַּנְפֵי חַיּוֹת הַמֶּרְכָּבָה.
\n26. מִצְוָה אַחַר זוֹ – לָתֵת לַלְוִיִּם עָרִים לָשֶׁבֶת. וּמִשּׁוּם שֶׁהֵם לֹא הִשְׁתַּתְּפוּ בָעֵגֶל, הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא חָלַק אוֹתָם אֵלָיו, שֶׁיִּהְיוּ מְנַגְּנִים לוֹ בְּכַמָּה מִינֵי נִגּוּן. שֶׁכֹּהֲנִים בַּעֲבוֹדָתָם, וּלְוִיִּם לְשִׁירָם וּלְזִמְרָם, וְיִשְׂרָאֵל לִנְוֵיהֶם. כֹּהֲנִים בַּעֲבוֹדָתָם, שֶׁיֵּשׁ שָׁם כַּמָּה מִצְווֹת.<\/div>\n

Zohar Behar<\/strong><\/p>\n

Isaiah 18:3<\/a>
\n“כָּל-יֹשְׁבֵי תֵבֵל, וְשֹׁכְנֵי אָרֶץ, כִּנְשֹׂא-נֵס הָרִים תִּרְאוּ, וְכִתְקֹעַ שׁוֹפָר תִּשְׁמָעוּ”
\n“All you inhabitants of the world, you who dwell on the earth, when a signal is raised on the mountains, look! When a trumpet (Shofar<\/a>) is blown, hear!”<\/p>\n

The Zohar explains that at the time of the Redemption the entire world will see the sign and hear the blowing of the Shofar<\/a>, announcing the freedom of the world from all negativity.<\/p>\n

In the year of the jubilee we blow the Shofar<\/a> to announce the release of the slaves (See DZ 1811). So it will be in at the time of the Final Redemption.<\/p>\n

In our daily silent prayers we express our desires to see and hear the Shofar<\/a> of the Redemption:<\/p>\n

תְּקַע בְּשׁוֹפָר גָּדוֹל לְחֵרוּתֵנוּ וְשָׂא נֵס לְקַבֵּץ גָּלֻיּוֹתֵינוּ וְקָרֵב פְּזוּרֵינוּ מִבֵּין הַגּוֹיִים וּנְפוּצוֹתֵינוּ כַּנֵּס מִיַּרְכְּתֵי אָרֶץ. וַהֲבִיאֵנוּ לְצִיּוֹן עִירָךְ בְּרִנָּה וְלִירוּשָׁלַיִם בֵּית מִקְדָּשָׁךְ בְּשִׂמְחַת עוֹלָם.<\/p>\n

“Sound the great shofar<\/a> for our freedom And raise the sign to gather all exiles together. Bring closer those who scattered among the nations And those who went to the corners of the earth. Bring us to Zion<\/a>, your city, with joy and to Jerusalem<\/a>, your holy temple with eternal happiness”<\/p>\n

The ‘great’ shofar<\/a> is a special aspect of Chassadim<\/a> that God will bring to the world when He sounds the Shofar<\/a>.
\nKing David said in 1 Chronicles (29:11)
\n“לְךָ יְהוָה הַגְּדֻלָּה וְהַגְּבוּרָה וְהַתִּפְאֶרֶת, וְהַנֵּצַח וְהַהוֹד”
\n“To you, YHVH<\/a> is the greatness (Chessed<\/a>), and the power (Gevurah<\/a>), and the glory (Tiferet<\/a>), and the victory (Netzach<\/a>), and the majesty (Hod<\/a>);”<\/p>\n
