16. אִם בְּחֻקֹּתַי תֵּלֵכוּ. אִם בְּחֻקֹּתַי – זֶה מָקוֹם שֶׁגְּזֵרוֹת הַתּוֹרָה תְּלוּיוֹת בְּאוֹתוֹ מָקוֹם, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (ויקרא יט) אֶת חֻקֹּתַי תִּשְׁמֹרוּ. חֹק הוּא שֶׁנִּקְרָא כָּךְ, וּגְזֵרוֹת הַתּוֹרָה בּוֹ נִכְלָלוֹת. (שם כה) וְאֶת מִשְׁפָּטַי תִּשְׁמְרוּ. מִשְׁפָּטַי – זֶהוּ מָקוֹם אַחֵר עֶלְיוֹן שֶׁאוֹתָהּ חֻקָּה אֲחוּזָה בּוֹ, וּמִתְחַבְּרִים זֶה בָּזֶה, שֶׁל עֶלְיוֹנִים וְתַחְתּוֹנִים, וְכָל מִצְווֹת הַתּוֹרָה, וְכָל גְּזֵרוֹת הַתּוֹרָה, וְכָל קְדֻשּׁוֹת הַתּוֹרָה בָּזֶה אֲחוּזִים, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁזּוֹ תּוֹרָה שֶׁבִּכְתָב, וְזוֹ תּוֹרָה שֶׁבְּעַל פֶּה.
\n17. וְעַל זֶה אִם בְּחֻקֹּתַי. כָּל אוֹתָם גְּזֵרוֹת וְדִינִים וָעֳנָשִׁים וּמִצְווֹת, שֶׁהֵם בְּאוֹתוֹ מָקוֹם שֶׁנִּקְרָא תּוֹרָה שֶׁבְּעַל פֶּה – חֻקָּה. וְאֶת מִשְׁפָּטַי תִּשְׁמְרוּ, בְּאוֹתוֹ מָקוֹם שֶׁנִּקְרָא תּוֹרָה שֶׁבִּכְתָב, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר מִשְׁפָּט לֵאלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב. וְזֶה אָחוּז בָּזֶה וְזֶה בָּזֶה, וְהַכֹּל אֶחָד. וְזֶהוּ כְּלַל הַשֵּׁם הַקָּדוֹשׁ. וּמִי שֶׁעוֹבֵר עַל דִּבְרֵי הַתּוֹרָה, כְּאִלּוּ פָּגַם אֶת הַשֵּׁם הַקָּדוֹשׁ, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁחֹק וּמִשְׁפָּט זֶהוּ הַשֵּׁם שֶׁל הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא. וְעַל זֶה, אִם בְּחֻקֹּתַי תֵּלֵכוּ – זוֹ תּוֹרָה שֶׁבְּעַל פֶּה. וְאֶת מִשְׁפָּטַי תִּשְׁמְרוּ – זוֹ תּוֹרָה שֶׁבִּכְתָב, וְזֶהוּ כְּלַל הַשֵּׁם הַקָּדוֹשׁ.<\/div>\n

\n“אִם-בְּחֻקֹּתַי, תֵּלֵכוּ; וְאֶת-מִצְו‍ֹתַי תִּשְׁמְרוּ, וַעֲשִׂיתֶם אֹתָם”
\n““If you walk in my statutes and observe my commandments and do them,”<\/p>\n

The Zohar explains that ‘בְּחֻקֹּתַי’ ‘my statutes’ are the decrees and judgment at the level of Malchut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

‘מִצְו‍ֹתַי’,‘my commandments’, is the aspect of Zeir Anpin<\/a> the Torah that, as a whole, is the complete Holy name of God. It represents the entire creation, physical and spiritual.<\/p>\n

If we follow the Torah we connect to the complete system with holiness. Without the Torah we are subject to the decrees and judgment of the lower world.<\/p>\n
