25. וְנָתַתִּי שָׁלוֹם בָּאָרֶץ וּשְׁכַבְתֶּם וְאֵין מַחֲרִיד וְגוֹ’. רַבִּי יוֹסֵי פָּתַח, (תהלים ד) רִגְזוּ וְאַל תֶּחֱטָאוּ וְגוֹ’. רִגְזוּ וְאַל תֶּחֱטָאוּ, פָּסוּק זֶה פֵּרְשׁוּהוּ, שֶׁצָּרִיךְ בֶּן אָדָם לְהַרְגִּיז יֵצֶר טוֹב עַל יֵצֶר הָרָע, וְיָפֶה. אֲבָל בְּשָׁעָה שֶׁיּוֹרֵד הַלַּיְלָה וּבֶן אָדָם שׁוֹכֵב עַל מִטָּתוֹ, כַּמָּה מְמֻנִּים עַל הַחֻקִּים מִתְעוֹרְרִים בָּעוֹלָם, וְהוֹלְכִים וּמְשׁוֹטְטִים, וּבְנֵי אָדָם צְרִיכִים לְהֵחָרֵד מִלִּפְנֵי הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא וְלִפְחֹד מִמֶּנּוּ, בִּשְׁבִיל שֶׁלֹּא תִמָּצֵא נַפְשׁוֹ בְתוֹכָם וְיִנָּצֵל מֵהֶם, וְיִצְטָרֵךְ לוֹ לְבֶן אָדָם שֶׁלֹּא יוֹצִיא מִלָּה בְּפִיו מֵהֶם, כְּדֵי שֶׁלֹּא יְעוֹרֵר אוֹתָם אֵלָיו וְלֹא יִמָּצְאוּ עִמּוֹ. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב אִמְרוּ בִלְבַבְכֶם עַל מִשְׁכַּבְכֶם וְדֹמּוּ סֶלָה. שֶׁלֹּא יוֹצִיא מֵהֶם דִּבּוּר בְּפִיו.<\/div>\n

Leviticus 26:6<\/a>
\n“וְנָתַתִּי שָׁלוֹם בָּאָרֶץ, וּשְׁכַבְתֶּם וְאֵין מַחֲרִיד; וְהִשְׁבַּתִּי חַיָּה רָעָה, מִן-הָאָרֶץ, וְחֶרֶב, לֹא-תַעֲבֹר בְּאַרְצְכֶם.”
\n“I shall also grant peace in the land, so that you may lie down with no one making you tremble. I shall also eliminate harmful beasts from the land, and no sword will pass through your land.”<\/p>\n

This is the promise that God gave us if we accept his advice and follow the laws of the Torah.<\/p>\n

Psalms 4:5<\/a>
\n“רִגְזוּ, וְאַל-תֶּחֱטָאוּ: אִמְרוּ בִלְבַבְכֶם, עַל-מִשְׁכַּבְכֶם; וְדֹמּוּ סֶלָה.”
\n“Be angry, and do not sin; ponder in your own hearts on your beds, and be silent. Selah”<\/p>\n

The Zohar tells us that it is a good thing to be angry with the evil inclination. When the night comes and forces of judgments spread in the world we should avoid all aspects of negativity so we won’t be exposed and affected by these forces.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
