Deuteronomy 22:19<\/a>
\n“וְעָנְשׁוּ אֹתוֹ מֵאָה כֶסֶף, וְנָתְנוּ לַאֲבִי הַנַּעֲרָה–כִּי הוֹצִיא שֵׁם רָע, עַל בְּתוּלַת יִשְׂרָאֵל; וְלוֹ-תִהְיֶה לְאִשָּׁה, לֹא-יוּכַל לְשַׁלְּחָהּ כָּל-יָמָיו”
\n“and they shall fine him a hundred shekels of silver and give it to the girl’s father, because he publicly defamed a virgin of Israel<\/a>. And she shall remain his wife; he cannot divorce her all his days.”<\/p>\n

Elijah tells Moses that Israel<\/a> (Tiferet<\/a>) is included from the Right and the Left and have perfect unification with Malchut<\/a>. Elijah adds that Moses defamed Malchut<\/a> at the time of the sin of the Golden Calf when he told God in Exodus 32:11<\/a>
\n“וַיְחַל מֹשֶׁה, אֶת-פְּנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהָיו; וַיֹּאמֶר, לָמָה יְהוָה יֶחֱרֶה אַפְּךָ בְּעַמֶּךָ, אֲשֶׁר הוֹצֵאתָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם, בְּכֹחַ גָּדוֹל וּבְיָד חֲזָקָה” “Then Moses entreated YHVH<\/a> his God, and said, “O YHVH<\/a>, why does Your anger burn against Your people whom You have brought out from the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?”<\/p>\n

God answered Moses telling him (Exodus 32:7<\/a>) ““Go down, for your people, whom you brought up out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves.”<\/p>\n

Moses in his request was referring to God’s people, which are the Israelites<\/a>. It was at the time of the sin of the Golden Calf. When God answered Moses he referred to Erev Rav that actually did the sin as “Your people”, meaning Moses’s people. It is so because Moses allowed Erev Rav to join the Israelites<\/a> out of Egypt after he converted them. Even though God suggested to leave them behind Moses insisted because he wanted to correct them and bring the final Tikkun of all the souls of Adam.<\/p>\n

As a reincarnation of Abel, Moses had responsibility for the correction of Adam, who was responsible for the creation of the souls of Erev Rav. (More on that in another study).
\nSo Moses made a mistake when he included the Israelites<\/a> with Erev Rav, but God found the Israelites<\/a> pure, because they didn’t lose the connection to Malchut<\/a>.
\nAccording to the Torah law that we read in Deuteronomy 22:19<\/a> above, Moses’s mistake made him become the groom, the husband and the protector of the ‘Virgin of Israel<\/a>’, which is the aspect of the Israelites<\/a>, forever.<\/p>\n
