Genesis 12:1<\/a>
\n“וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-אַבְרָם, לֶךְ-לְךָ מֵאַרְצְךָ וּמִמּוֹלַדְתְּךָ וּמִבֵּית אָבִיךָ, אֶל-הָאָרֶץ, אֲשֶׁר אַרְאֶךָּ.”
\n“Now YHVH<\/a> said to Abram, “Go from your country, from your homeland and your father’s house to the land that I will show you.”<\/p>\n

The Zohar explains:
\n“Go from”
\n“your country” –  Abram’s current environment of incomplete spiritual system.
\n“your homeland” – Light of the Left that Abram used for his Astrology readings. Abram was watching and following the Zodiac to learn about his path but he didn’t have the full understanding of the Tree of Life<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“from your father’s house” – this is to tell Abram that he can not find success from his root, his father.
\n“to the land that I will show you” – before God revealed himself to him, Abram could connect only to the Right and the Left columns. Going to the new land enabled Abram to connect to the three columns<\/a> and to the upper three Sefirot.<\/p>\n

Having knowledge of the world without connection to the three column system of the Tree of Life<\/a> can not bring success and spiritual growth. Our purpose in life is to bring the soul to higher level of understanding the spiritual system.<\/p>\n

The knowledge of Astrology helped Abram find the right path for himself. He needed the guidance of YHVH<\/a> to elevate his soul.<\/p>\n

Following God’s new path for him earned him the merit to have the covenant and guaranteed the future success of his sons all the way to the Final Redemption.<\/p>\n
