33. רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן אָמַר, וְאֶעֶשְׂךָ לְגוֹי גָּדוֹל – מִצַּד הַיָּמִין. וַאֲבָרֶכְךָ – מִצַּד הַשְּׂמֹאל. וַאֲגַדְּלָה שְׁמֶךָ – מִצַּד הָאֶמְצַע. וֶהְיֵה בְּרָכָה – מִצַּד שֶׁל אֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל. הִנֵּה כָּאן כִּסֵּא שֶׁל אַרְבָּעָה עַמּוּדִים שֶׁכֻּלָּם כְּלוּלִים בְּאַבְרָהָם. מִכָּאן וָהָלְאָה בְּרָכוֹת לָאֲחֵרִים שֶׁנִּזּוֹנִים מִכָּאן, שֶׁכָּתוּב וַאֲבָרְכָה מְבָרֲכֶיךָ. וּמְקַלֶּלְךָ אָאֹר וְנִבְרְכוּ בְךָ כֹּל מִשְׁפְּחֹת הָאֲדָמָה.
\n34. רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר הָיָה יוֹשֵׁב לִפְנֵי רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן אָבִיו, וְהָיָה עִמּוֹ רַבִּי יְהוּדָה וְרַבִּי יִצְחָק וְרַבִּי חִזְקִיָּה. אָמַר לוֹ רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר לְרַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן אָבִיו, זֶה שֶׁכָּתוּב לֶךְ לְךָ מֵאַרְצְךָ וּמִמּוֹלַדְתְּךָ, כֵּיוָן שֶׁכֻּלָּם יָצְאוּ לָלֶכֶת, לָמָּה לֹא נֶאֱמַר לוֹ שֶׁכֻּלָּם יֵצְאוּ?
\n35. שֶׁהֲרֵי אַף עַל גַּב שֶׁתֶּרַח הָיָה עוֹבֵד לַעֲבוֹדָה זָרָה, כֵּיוָן שֶׁהִתְעוֹרֵר בְּהִתְעוֹרְרוּת טוֹבָה לָצֵאת עִם אַבְרָהָם, וְרָאִינוּ שֶׁהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא מְרֻצֶּה מִתְּשׁוּבַת הָרְשָׁעִים, וְהִתְחִיל לָצֵאת, לָמָּה לֹא כָתוּב לְכוּ לָכֶם? לָמָּה לְאַבְרָהָם לְבַדּוֹ לֶךְ לְךָ?.<\/div>\n

\nZohar Lech Lecha<\/strong><\/p>\n

Continued from previous DZ<\/p>\n

The Zohar explains that when Abram followed God’s instruction it merited him a great connection to the spiritual system, and all the four promises God made for him in Genesis 12:2<\/a>
\n“וְאֶעֶשְׂךָ, לְגוֹי גָּדוֹל, וַאֲבָרֶכְךָ, וַאֲגַדְּלָה שְׁמֶךָ; וֶהְיֵה, בְּרָכָה.”
\n“And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.”<\/p>\n

1. “And I will make of you a great nation<\/strong>” – is the aspect of the Right column<\/a>, Chessed<\/a>. Abram build a vessel for it when he followed God’s instructions of ‘Lech lecha’ (See DZ 1950 and DZ 1951).
\n2. “and I will bless you<\/strong>” – is the aspect of the Left column<\/a>, Gevurah<\/a>. Abram left his country and its negativity to follow YHVH<\/a>.
\n3. “and make your name great<\/strong>” – is the aspect of the central column. Abram’s actions, leaving his homeland and everything behind him, created a unification of the Right and Left column<\/a>, forming the central column. God promised to elevate his name, meaning elevating his soul to higher levels.
\n4. “and you will be a blessing<\/strong>” – is the aspect of blessings that comes from the Land of Israel<\/a>, where Abram was suppose to settle and begin the great journey with his descendant to make full connection to Zeir Anpin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rabbi Shimon reveals that the four promises connect to the holy throne that is Binah<\/a> and everyone is nourished from Abraham. That is the meaning of the verse in Genesis 12:3<\/a>
\n“וַאֲבָרְכָה, מְבָרְכֶיךָ, וּמְקַלֶּלְךָ, אָאֹר; וְנִבְרְכוּ בְךָ, כֹּל מִשְׁפְּחֹת הָאֲדָמָה”
\n“I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.””<\/p>\n

When the world understands that the prophecy of Zechariah 8:23<\/a> will be fulfilled
\n“כֹּה-אָמַר, יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת, בַּיָּמִים הָהֵמָּה, אֲשֶׁר יַחֲזִיקוּ עֲשָׂרָה אֲנָשִׁים מִכֹּל לְשֹׁנוֹת הַגּוֹיִם; וְהֶחֱזִיקוּ בִּכְנַף אִישׁ יְהוּדִי לֵאמֹר, נֵלְכָה עִמָּכֶם–כִּי שָׁמַעְנוּ, אֱלֹהִים עִמָּכֶם.”
\n“Thus says YHVH<\/a> of hosts: In those days ten men from the nations of every tongue shall take hold of the garment<\/a> of a Jew, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”<\/p>\n

We use the Zohar as garments and that what attracts all Israelites<\/a> souls together, creating a great vessel to draw the Light of Mashiach to the world.<\/p>\n
