24. וְהַקָּבָּ”ה הוֹלֵךְ עִמּוֹ בְּכָל רֹאשׁ חֹדֶשׁ וְחֹדֶשׁ, וּכְשֶׁרוֹאָה הַנְּשָׁמָה אֶת כְּבוֹד הָאַסְפַּקְלַרְיָה שֶׁל שְׁכִינַת רִבּוֹנוֹ, מְבָרֶכֶת וּמִשְׁתַּחֲוָה לִפְנֵי הַקָּבָּ”ה. וְזֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (תהלים קד) בָּרְכִי נַפְשִׁי אֶת ה’.
\n25. אָמַר רַבִּי עֲקִיבָא, הַקָּבָּ”ה עוֹמֵד עָלָיו, וְהַנְּשָׁמָה פּוֹתַחַת וְאוֹמֶרֶת: ה’ אֱלֹהַי גָּדַלְתָּ מְּאֹד וְגוֹ’ כָּל הַפָּרָשָׁה, עַד הַסִּיּוּם שֶׁאוֹמֵר יִתַּמּוּ חַטָּאִים וגו’. וְעוֹד אָמַר רַבִּי עֲקִיבָא, וְלֹא זוֹ בִּלְבַד, אֶלָּא מְשַׁבַּחַת אוֹתוֹ עַל הַגּוּף שֶׁנִּשְׁאָר בָּעוֹלָם הַזֶּה, וְאוֹמֵר (שם קג) בָּרְכִי נַפְשִׁי אֶת ה’ וְכָל קְרָבַי וגו’.
\n26. וְהַקָּבָּ”ה הוֹלֵךְ. מִנַּיִן לָנוּ זֶה? מֵהַפָּסוּק הַזֶּה שֶׁכָּתוּב וַיֵּרָא אֵלָיו ה’ בְּאֵלֹנֵי מַמְרֵא. זֶה יַעֲקֹב. מַה זֶּה מַמְרֵא? מִשּׁוּם שֶׁיָּרַשׁ מָאתַיִם עוֹלָמוֹת מֵעֵדֶן, וְהוּא כִסֵּא. אָמַר רַבִּי יִצְחָק, מַמְרֵא בְּגִימַטְרִיָּא מָאתַיִם שְׁמוֹנִים וְאַחַת הָיָה. מָאתַיִם שֶׁל עֵדֶן, שֶׁכָּתוּב (שיר ח) וּמָאתַיִם לְנֹטְרִים אֶת פִּרְיוֹ, וּשְׁמוֹנִים וְאַחַת שֶׁהוּא כִּסֵּא. וְלָכֵן נִקְרָא וַיֵּרָא אֵלָיו ה’ בְּאֵלֹנֵי מַמְרֵא. וְעַל שֵׁם זֶה נִקְרָא מַמרֵא.<\/div>\n

\nZohar Vayera<\/strong>
\nContinued from previous DZ<\/p>\n

On every new moon<\/a> (rosh chodesh<\/a>) the Holy One, Jacob, and the Shechina come to see the Tzadikim. When the soul sees the reflection of the Shechina she blesses and bows to God as it says in Psalms 104:1<\/a>
\n“בָּרְכִי נַפְשִׁי, אֶת-יְהוָה:
\nיְהוָה אֱלֹהַי, גָּדַלְתָּ מְּאֹד; הוֹד וְהָדָר לָבָשְׁתָּ”
\n“Bless YHVH<\/a> my soul! O YHVH<\/a> my God, you are very great! honor and majesty you have put on”<\/p>\n

Rabbi Akiva explains that the Holy One stands in front of the soul, she continues the blessings in Psalms 104. After the blessings to God the soul continues to bless God for the opportunities given to her during the life in the physical realm to become righteous.<\/p>\n

\n“לְדָוִד: בָּרְכִי נַפְשִׁי, אֶת-יְהוָה; וְכָל-קְרָבַי, אֶת-שֵׁם קָדְשׁוֹ”
