29. מִזְמוֹר. הֲרֵי בֵּאַרְנוּ, וְנִתְבָּאֵר, וּבַכֹּל כָּתוּב מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד אוֹ לְדָוִד מִזְמוֹר, וְכָאן לֹא אָמַר דָּוִד כְּלָל. אֶלָּא מִזְמוֹר, שֶׁעֲתִידָה רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ לְזַמֵּר אוֹתוֹ בִּזְמַן שֶׁיָּקִים הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל מִן הֶעָפָר, וְאָז שִׁירוּ לַה’ שִׁיר חָדָשׁ. אָז הוּא חָדָשׁ. שֶׁהֲרֵי שִׁירָה כָּזוֹ לֹא נֶאֶמְרָה מִיּוֹם שֶׁנִּבְרָא הָעוֹלָם.

Psalms 98:1<\/a>
\n“מִזְמוֹר, שִׁירוּ לַיהוָה שִׁיר חָדָשׁ כִּי-נִפְלָאוֹת עָשָׂה;
\nהוֹשִׁיעָה-לּוֹ יְמִינוֹ, וּזְרוֹעַ קָדְשׁוֹ”
\n“A Psalm. Oh sing to YHVH<\/a> a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.”<\/p>\n

The Zohar explains that this Psalm begins with ‘A Psalms’ and not as common “A Psalms of David” or “for David, a Psalms”. The reason for that is that the Holy Spirit will sing it in the future. It will be at the time the Holy One Blessed be He raises the Israelites<\/a> from the dust.
\nThe verse says “sing to YHVH<\/a> a new song” because it will be a new song that was never sang from the day the world was created.<\/p>\n
