Zohar Vayetze<\/strong><\/p>\n

The other side<\/a> tries to drain our energy with sexual temptations and with creating desires for the self alone.
\nThe Snake<\/a> seduced Eve, contaminating her vessel. She made Adam connected to the physical level before it matured on Friday night. They lost their immortal state because of that.<\/p>\n

The test that we go through begins with attacking our vessels. The vessel is a female aspect. The wives of the Patriarch represented their vessels and their main tests were when they left their home seeking for material comfort. As we studied in previous DZ, a famine in the land forced Abraham to go to Egypt with his wife. Pharaoh tried to seduce her but couldn’t. Sarah helped correcting the sin of Eve.<\/p>\n

Isaac also went to the king of the Philistines because of famine and had to live among negative people. God protected him because of the merit of his father, Abraham.<\/p>\n

Jacob went to Haran and had to work hard for his wives. He didn’t give up until he earned his wife, Rachel, who was the mother<\/a> of his two righteous children, Joseph<\/a> and Benjamin.<\/p>\n

The matriarchs and patriarchs kept the purity of their vessels and because of that they were able to establish channels for the upper Light.<\/p>\n

Lessons<\/strong>:
\nFollowing material temptations could cause the vessel to reject the Light and lose its purpose of becoming a channel of Light to the world.
\nLittle desires grow to bigger desires of the wrong type up to a point that all we want is more of the material aspect to satisfy growing hunger for it. When the vessel is filled with all that is material then no more room is left for the Light. The life force no longer exists in the vessel and the soul loses its control to the negative side.
\nProtect your vessel using spiritual connections to draw Light and share it to create continuation of Light and life.<\/p>\n
