19. כְּמוֹ כֵן בְּכָל מָקוֹם שֶׁשָּׁרוּי צַדִּיק [עַל] בָּעוֹלָם, בִּשְׁבִילוֹ הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא יָגֵן עַל הָעוֹלָם, וְכָל זְמַן שֶׁהוּא קַיָּם, הַדִּין לֹא שׁוֹרֶה עַל הָעוֹלָם, וְהִנֵּה נִתְבָּאֵר.
\n20. בֹּא רְאֵה, וַיֵּשֶׁב יַעֲקֹב בְּאֶרֶץ מְגוּרֵי אָבִיו, מַה זֶּה מְגוּרֵי אָבִיו? כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (ירמיה ו) מָגוֹר מִסָּבִיב, שֶׁכָּל יָמָיו הָיָה פּוֹחֵד וְהָיָה בְּפַחַד. וַיֵּשֶׁב יַעֲקֹב בְּאֶרֶץ מְגוּרֵי אָבִיו. רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר אָמַר, שֶׁהִתְקַשֵּׁר וְיָשַׁב בְּאוֹתוֹ מָקוֹם שֶׁנֶּאֱחַז בַּחֹשֶׁךְ. אֶרֶץ מְגוּרֵי אָבִיו דַּוְקָא, בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן, נִקְשַׁר הַמָּקוֹם לִמְקוֹמוֹ. מְגוּרֵי אָבִיו – זֶה הַדִּין הַקָּשֶׁה. בְּאֶרֶץ מְגוּרֵי אָבִיו, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר אוֹתוֹ הַדִּין הָרָפֶה, שֶׁהִיא הָאָרֶץ שֶׁנֶּאֶחְזָה מִן הַדִּין הַקָּשֶׁה, וּבוֹ הִתְיַשֵּׁב יַעֲקֹב וְנֶאֱחַז בּוֹ [וְאוֹתָהּ אֶרֶץ הִיא הָאַסְפַּקְלַרְיָה שֶׁאֵינָהּ מְאִירָה].
\n21. אֵלֶּה תֹּלְדוֹת יַעֲקֹב יוֹסֵף וְגוֹ’. אַחַר שֶׁהִתְיַשֵּׁב יוֹסֵף עִם יַעֲקֹב וְהִזְדַּוֵּג הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ עִם הַלְּבָנָה, אָז הִתְחִיל לַעֲשׂוֹת תּוֹלָדוֹת. וּמִי הוּא שֶׁעוֹשֶׂה תוֹלָדוֹת? חָזַר וְאָמַר יוֹסֵף. שֶׁהֲרֵי אוֹתוֹ נָהָר שֶׁשּׁוֹפֵעַ וְיוֹצֵא הוּא עוֹשֶׂה תוֹלָדוֹת, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁאֵין מֵימָיו פּוֹסְקִים לְעוֹלָמִים, וְהוּא עוֹשֶׂה תּוֹלָדוֹת בָּאָרֶץ הַזּוֹ וּמִמֶּנּוּ יוֹצְאִים תּוֹלָדוֹת לָעוֹלָם.<\/div>\n

Genesis 37:1<\/a>
\n“ וַיֵּשֶׁב יַעֲקֹב, בְּאֶרֶץ מְגוּרֵי אָבִיו–בְּאֶרֶץ, כְּנָעַן”
\n“And Jacob dwelleth in the land of his father’s sojournings — in the land of Canaan.”<\/p>\n

Jacob’s father Isaac was the aspect of the Left column<\/a> and hard judgments. Jacob is the Central column that draws Light from Zeir Anpin<\/a> to Malchut<\/a> that is the aspect of ‘the land’. When the Light is revealed in ‘the land’, which is the aspect of Malchut<\/a>, the hard judgments become soft.<\/p>\n

Lesson:
\n‘The land’ is Malchut<\/a> and, in the absence of Light, we experience hard judgments.
\nThe technological progress of the world transformed our civilization into one that focuses on the material existence, greed and control. This strong gravity to ‘the land’, disconnected us from the Light and brought about hard judgments that we can see everywhere. The only way to soften the judgements is by drawing Light using the spiritual tools of the study of Torah through the Zohar.
\nEach one of us need to make more time than before for Zohar study to reveal more Light in our lives and the world around us.<\/p>\n
