The Zohar tells us that no matter how many judgments come to a person, he can still cancel them with prayers.
There’s a lot to learn about the deeper meaning of our prayer books and the spiritual process that takes us through the different spiritual worlds to the higher levels where we can pray (in plural form) and draw Light to us and the world.

The Zohar is not a tool to replace the regular prayers but its studies give us short cuts to the higher levels and carry up our meditations.

The moon represents us, living in lack of Light and need to make efforts to connect to the Light to remove darkness from our lives.

A day will come when the moon will constantly be full of light and we will experience no lack.
Once a month we make a special blessings for the moon. Every month after the first Shabbat of the month, usually after the first seven days we make special blessing for the moon. We don’t do it after the 2nd quarter because the moon is waning and loses it’s ability to transfer light.

During the blessings of the moon we recite the verses below from Isaiah 30:26
“וְהָיָה אוֹר הַלְּבָנָה כְּאוֹר הַחַמָּה וְאוֹר הַחַמָּה יִהְיֶה שִׁבְעָתַיִם כְּאוֹר שִׁבְעַת הַיָּמִים בְּיוֹם חֲבֹשׁ יְהוָה אֶת שֶׁבֶר עַמּוֹ וּמַחַץ מַכָּתוֹ יִרְפָּא”
“Moreover, the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven-fold, as the light of seven days, in the day when YHVH binds up the brokenness of his people, and heals the wounds inflicted by his blow”

When this event happens, the moon will have no ‘dark’ side and we will experience life of no sufferings and complete fulfillment.

{||}

Click/Touch here to listen to the Daily Zohar

<img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-21" title="Daily Zohar Pinchas-1989 Scanning from right to left top to bottom" src="https://staging.dailyzohar.com/wp-content/uploads/parashot/images/dzp-1989.gif" alt="Holy Zohar text.
