\nContinued from previous DZ<\/p>\n

The Torah portion of Balak tells us the story of Balak who asked Balaam to curse the Israelites<\/a> to cut the flow of energy coming to them from YHVH<\/a> through the level of Da’at. They failed with their original plan so they sent the women of Moab to seduce the Israelites<\/a> and corrupt their connection to the Light through the level of Yessod<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Numbers 25:1<\/a>
\n“וַיֵּשֶׁב יִשְׂרָאֵל, בַּשִּׁטִּים; וַיָּחֶל הָעָם, לִזְנוֹת אֶל-בְּנוֹת מוֹאָב”
\n“While Israel<\/a> lived in Shittim, the people began to whore with the daughters of Moab.”<\/p>\n

The spiritual corruption causes the ‘anger’ of God, which is the effect of the cause.
\nThe ‘anger’ of God is the outcome of the corruption to the spiritual system made by the wrong sexual connection of the Israelites<\/a> and the Moabites. They had the vessel of the other side<\/a> so the pure Light of the Israelites<\/a> was drained out and it caused a plague that killed 24000 people, until Pinchas did what he did to stop it.<\/p>\n

“וַיִּצָּמֶד יִשְׂרָאֵל, לְבַעַל פְּעוֹר; וַיִּחַר-אַף יְהוָה, בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל”
\n“So Israel<\/a> joined themselves to Baal of Peor, and YHVH<\/a> was angry against Israel<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

Sexual impurities cause a serious corruption in the flow of energy and many people don’t see the connection between that and the chaos they experience in their lives.<\/p>\n

Yessod<\/a> is the Sefira that channels the Light of the upper levels to Malchut<\/a>. We need to draw the Light to pure vessels in order to have it manifested properly in our lives.
\nThe main aspect of using Yessod<\/a> to bring down Light to our lives and the world is using spiritual connections and Torah study through the Zohar. Our desires for the Light should be pure and for the sake of the soul, rather than to support personal and selfish desires.
\nSexual unification of a husband and wife can draw great Light and support positive manifestation in their world.<\/p>\n

The Zohar continues to explain that the leaders of the people have the responsibility to keep the flow of Light to their people because they are like the channel of Yessod<\/a>. They must follow the ways of the Light in order to draw Light to the people. Their corruption is cleansed and removed with their death.<\/p>\n

Numbers 25:3<\/a>
\n“וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה, קַח אֶת-כָּל-רָאשֵׁי הָעָם, וְהוֹקַע אוֹתָם לַיהוָה, נֶגֶד הַשָּׁמֶשׁ; וְיָשֹׁב חֲרוֹן אַף-יְהוָה, מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל”
\n“And YHVH<\/a> said to Moses, “Take all the chiefs of the people and hang them in the sun before YHVH<\/a>, that the fierce anger of YHVH<\/a> may turn away from Israel<\/a>.””<\/p>\n

Rabbis and teachers with followers have the responsibility to teach the people and connect them to the Light. Personal and material fulfillments that bring pleasures of this world bring spiritual corruption and negative outcome.<\/p>\n

The world is against us because our channel of Yessod<\/a> is corrupted. If we don’t shift our focus from personal desires to drawing Light to the world we may experience countless plagues and deaths.<\/p>\n
