Zohar Mishpatim<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Zohar reveals that the name of God ‘אלהים’ ELOHIM is a special name that spreads out to different ways and paths. This name is the force used by all appointees, governors and leaders that serve all the other nations.<\/p>\n

The Zohar quotes the verses below to show that the force of God ‘אלהים’ ELOHIYM communicates also with idol worshipers.<\/p>\n

Numbers 22:9<\/a>
\n“וַיָּבֹא אֱלֹהִים, אֶל-בִּלְעָם;”
\n“And God came to Balaam and said, “Who are these men with you?””<\/p>\n

Genesis 20:3<\/a>
\n“וַיָּבֹא אֱלֹהִים אֶל-אֲבִימֶלֶךְ, בַּחֲלוֹם הַלָּיְלָה”
\n“And God came to Abimelech in a dream of the night”<\/p>\n

The Israelites<\/a> are governed solely by the higher name, YHVH<\/a>. The name ‘אלהים’ ELOHIM, is the aspect of the executive branch of the government. It manages and controls everything.<\/p>\n

In English translation YHVH<\/a> is usually translated as ‘The Lord’ and ELOHIM as ‘God’. On the Daily Zohar I may use ‘God’ for both names depending on the connection to the study, but in the quoted Torah verses I use ‘YHVH<\/a>’ and ‘God’ accordingly.
\nBecause YHVH<\/a> is higher on the spiritual system we don’t read the name as written and the connection is mostly through the eyes. The name ELOHIM is read as written because it is the ‘executive’ that created the world.<\/p>\n
