49. וְזֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (איוב כטו) כִּימֵי אֱלוֹהַּ יִשְׁמְרֵנִי, וְעַל סוֹד זֶה כָּתוּב כָּאן, לְעַם נָכְרִי לֹא יִמְשֹׁל לְמָכְרָהּ בְּבִגְדוֹ בָהּ, בְּעוֹד שֶׁלְּבוּשׁ כְּבוֹד הַמֶּלֶךְ בָּהּ. כֵּיוָן שֶׁבִּגְדוֹ בָהּ, כָּתוּב לְעַם נָכְרִי לֹא יִמְשֹׁל לְמָכְרָהּ.

Job 29:2<\/a>
\n“מִי-יִתְּנֵנִי כְיַרְחֵי-קֶדֶם; כִּימֵי, אֱלוֹהַּ יִשְׁמְרֵנִי”
\n“Oh that I were as in months gone by, As in the days when God (אֱלוֹהַּ ) watched over me;”<\/p>\n

The Zohar reveals that the special garment<\/a> that protects the soul is called “אלוה”, numerically 42.<\/p>\n

All souls are under the control of the Holy One Blessed be He. Everyone has a known time to live and is called up when God wishes to remove the soul from the world. At that time the other side<\/a> receives a permission to remove the soul from the body.<\/p>\n

God brings the soul into the developing body, after 40 days, while it is in a pure state immersed and protected from negativity in water. When it’s time to leave the world the other side<\/a> is called and with a special spiritual sword it separates the soul from the impure physical body. Because the body is under the control of the other side<\/a>, a person may die before his time if he attracts negativity to himself or puts himself in an environment that could bring judgment on him.<\/p>\n

Special souls like Moses, Rabbi Shimon and few others, bypass treatment of the other side<\/a> and ascend to heaven in a pure state, leaving the body behind, like a person undressing himself. In the end of the Idra Zuta we read that Rabbi Shimon was smiling when his soul left his body.<\/p>\n

The study of Zohar adds merits to those with pure consciousness. They may have a garment<\/a> of protection during their lives and if their spiritual connection is strong, they may smile with great pleasure when they see the Light that awaits them.<\/p>\n
