35. חָטְאוּ כְּמִקֹּדֶם. מֶה עָשָׂה הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא? הוֹצִיא אֶת הַבֵּן הַזֶּה כְּמִקֹּדֶם מֵהֵיכָלוֹ עִם אִמּוֹ. אָמַר, מִכָּאן וָהָלְאָה הָאֵם וּבְנָהּ יִסְבְּלוּ כַּמָּה רָעוֹת כְּאֶחָד. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב, (ישעיה נ) וּבְפִשְׁעֵיכֶם שֻׁלְּחָה אִמְּכֶם. וְעַל זֶה כָּתוּב, (דברים ד) בַּצַּר לְךָ וּמְצָאוּךָ כֹּל הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה בְּאַחֲרִית הַיָּמִים. מַה זֶּה בְּאַחֲרִית הַיָּמִים? אֶלָּא זוֹ הָאֵם הַקְּדוֹשָׁה, שֶׁהִיא אַחֲרִית הַיָּמִים, וְעִמָּהּ סָבְלוּ כָּל מַה שֶּׁסָּבְלוּ בַגָּלוּת.
\n36. וְאִלּוּ יַחְזְרוּ בִתְשׁוּבָה – אֲפִלּוּ רָעָה אַחַת אוֹ צַעַר אֶחָד שֶׁיַּעֲבֹר עֲלֵיהֶם, יֵחָשֵׁב עֲלֵיהֶם כְּאִלּוּ סָבְלוּ הַכֹּל. (וְאִם לֹא יִסָּתֵם הַקֵּץ) וְאִם לֹא – כְּשֶׁיִּסְתַּיֵּם הַקֵּץ (הָרָע) וְכָל הַדּוֹרוֹת שֶׁלּוֹ, כְּמוֹ שֶׁאָמַר הַמְּנוֹרָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה, שֶׁכָּתוּב (ויקרא כה) לַצְּמִיתֻת לַקֹּנֶה אֹתוֹ לְדֹרֹתָיו. וְכָל זֶה, הַדָּבָר תָּלוּי בִּתְשׁוּבָה. אָמַר רַבִּי חִיָּיא, וַדַּאי כָּךְ זֶה, וְעַל כֵּן נִמְשֶׁכֶת הַגָּלוּת.<\/div>\n

Because of the negativity and impurities created by the Israelites<\/a> they were removed from the Holy Land. The prophet Isaiah delivers the word of God, putting the blame on the Israelites<\/a>, saying that because of their iniquities God ‘divorced’ their mother<\/a>, which is the Shechina.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 50:1<\/a>
\n“כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה, אֵי זֶה סֵפֶר כְּרִיתוּת אִמְּכֶם אֲשֶׁר שִׁלַּחְתִּיהָ, אוֹ מִי מִנּוֹשַׁי, אֲשֶׁר-מָכַרְתִּי אֶתְכֶם לוֹ; הֵן בַּעֲו‍ֹנֹתֵיכֶם נִמְכַּרְתֶּם, וּבְפִשְׁעֵיכֶם שֻׁלְּחָה אִמְּכֶם”
\n“Thus says YHVH<\/a>: “Where is your mother<\/a>’s certificate of divorce, with which I sent her away? Or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities you were sold, and for your transgressions your mother<\/a> was sent away.”<\/p>\n

When the Holy Temple was in place and the priests<\/a> conducted services, the Light could be in unification with the Shechina, keeping a steady flow of Light to the world. Without the Holy Temple the Light can not be spread in the world. That created the aspect of ‘divorce’ because the Light can not be with the Shechina in his home, the Holy Temple. That is the state of exile of the Shechina. She came out of the house with us to give us support and ability to connect to the Light on Shabbat. It is the day that the Shechina can have unification with the Light for our benefit. That Shabbat is special. We welcome the Shabbat in a special way, we read the Torah using the process of seven elevations (Aliyot).<\/p>\n

The Kabbalists teach us that Rabbi Shimon wrote the Zohar to have a connection for the Shechina supporting her unification with the Light, allowing us to bring Light into our lives and the world. Because the Zohar studies the Torah on a higher spiritual level it acts like a bridge to the upper Light and a small alternative to the Holy Temple.
\nRabbi Shimon was called Shabbat and Sinai, two names that represent the highest aspect of connection to the Torah.<\/p>\n

Special Note for married couples:
\nThe male female unification is very important in this world to draw blessings. A married couple should make great efforts to respect each other and schedule unification on Friday night to benefit from the spiritual unification of the Light and the Shechina. Their unification with consciousness would draw great blessings to the family even if they lost the great love and passion they had before toward each other. This is a spiritual law that was designed to support continuation of all aspects of life; from having children to fruitful relationship, success and blessings to the family members and in work, business.
\nThose who think that they reached a ‘dead end’ in their relationship should think seriously about those who are dependent on them and try harder before they go for divorce.
