35. שֶׁאָז הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא קָשַׁר אוֹתוֹ בַּחֲבִיבוּת שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה, וְנִפְקַד לִהְיוֹת מְמֻנֶּה גָּדוֹל עַל הַבַּיִת, וְהוּא גּוֹזֵר וְהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא עוֹשֶׂה, שֶׁכָּתוּב (במדבר טז) וּפָצְתָה הָאֲדָמָה אֶת פִּיהָ וְגוֹ’, וְכָתוּב וַיְהִי כְּכַלֹּתוֹ לְדַבֵּר וְגוֹ’, וַתִּבָּקַע הָאֲדָמָה. וְכָתוּב (שם י) קוּמָה ה’. שׁוּבָה ה’. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב אֲשֶׁר פֻּקַּד עַל פִּי מֹשֶׁה. עַל פִּי מֹשֶׁה נִתְקַן וְנִפְקַד בַּכֹּל. הַפְּקִידָה שֶׁל הַמִּשְׁכָּן הָיְתָה עַל יְדֵי מֹשֶׁה, שֶׁכָּתוּב (שמות ג) פָּקֹד פָּקַדְתִּי אֶתְכֶם. שֶׁהוּא הָיָה קוֹל שֶׁהוֹצִיא אֶת אוֹתוֹ דִּבּוּר וְעָשָׂה לוֹ פְּקִידָה לָצֵאת מִן הַגָּלוּת, וְעַכְשָׁו נִפְקָד לְהַמְשִׁיךְ קְדֻשָּׁה מִמַּעְלָה לְמַטָּה, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (שם כה) וְעָשׂוּ לִי מִקְדָּשׁ וְשָׁכַנְתִּי בְּתוֹכָם.<\/div>\n

\nZohar Pekudei<\/strong>
\nExodus 3:5<\/a>
\n“וַיֹּאמֶר, אַל-תִּקְרַב הֲלֹם; שַׁל-נְעָלֶיךָ, מֵעַל רַגְלֶיךָ–כִּי הַמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר אַתָּה עוֹמֵד עָלָיו, אַדְמַת-קֹדֶשׁ הוּא.”
\n“Then He said, “Do not come near here; remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”<\/p>\n

When God revealed himself to Moses and ‘recruited’ him for the job of delivering the Israelites<\/a> from Egypt, he elevated him to a spiritual level where Moses could have direct connection to the upper Light and have control over all the levels below.<\/p>\n

Moses had to be separated from his wife that was on the level of Malchut<\/a>, which is represented by the lower letter H of the YHVH<\/a> name. Moses was elevated to Binah<\/a> where he could channel Light to the lower six sefirot of Zeir Anpin<\/a>.
\nThe Zohar teaches us here that when a righteous person achieves the level of Binah<\/a> he can command the Light onto the lower seven sefirot. The Zohar brings several quotes from the Torah to show how Moses commanded and God followed his ‘command’.<\/p>\n

Numbers 16:30<\/a> (From the story of Korach)
\n“But if YHVH<\/a> creates something new, and the ground opens its mouth<\/strong> and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into Sheol, then you shall know that these men have despised YHVH<\/a>.”
\nThen we read that God did exactly as Moses said;
\nNumbers 16:31<\/a>,32
\n“As he finished speaking all these words, the ground that was under them split open;”
\n“and the earth opened its mouth<\/strong> and swallowed them up, and their households, and all the men who belonged to Korah with their possessions.”<\/p>\n

The Zohar brings it to emphasis the power of Moses, who brought the Light to the Tabernacle and made it holy.<\/p>\n

Exodus 38:21<\/a>
\n“אֵלֶּה פְקוּדֵי הַמִּשְׁכָּן מִשְׁכַּן הָעֵדֻת, אֲשֶׁר פֻּקַּד עַל-פִּי מֹשֶׁה: עֲבֹדַת, הַלְוִיִּם, בְּיַד אִיתָמָר, בֶּן-אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן.”
\n“This is the number of the things for the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the testimony, as they were numbered according to the command of Moses<\/strong>, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.”<\/p>\n

Achieving the level of Binah<\/a> gives the righteous the ability to bless.<\/p>\n
