On Purim we have opportunity to tap into the highest level of <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Keter&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;&lt;\/div&gt;\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/?glossary=keter\" data-gt-translate-attributes=\"[{&quot;attribute&quot;:&quot;data-cmtooltip&quot;, &quot;format&quot;:&quot;html&quot;}]\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">Keter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The important spiritual connections that elevate us to the level that brings miracles are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Giving <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/half-a-shekel-explanation-and-meditation-on-how-to-make-this-high-spiritual-connection\/\" class=\"broken_link\">Half-a-Shekel <\/a><\/strong><br>\nIf you miss giving Half-a-Shekel on Purim you can do it until <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Rosh Chodesh&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Hebrew &amp;quot;&#1512;&#1488;&#1513; &#1495;&#1493;&#1491;&#1513;,&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Rosh Chodesh,&amp;quot; literally means &amp;quot;the head of the month,&amp;quot; new moon.The first day of the Hebrew month. The day of the new moon or immediately after. When the new moon starts on the last day of the month, we celebrate two days of Rosh Chodesh. In such a case, the second day is always the first day of the new month.On Rosh Chodesh, a new light appears in the world, and as the celestial element closer to earth, we are strongly affected by its position to other planets and distance from earth.It&amp;#039;s a positive day, and we make more studies and spiritual connections to draw greater Light on this day. In the Holy Temple, the priest sacrificed a goat to give the other side something to get busy with while we benefit from the Light revealed on that day. It&amp;#039;s a good day to give Tzedakah and light candles for Tzadikim. Even if there is no hilulah of Tzadikim on that day, some have the custom to light a candle for Rabbi Meir Baal Haness to receive protection and miracles during the coming month&lt;\/div&gt;\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/?glossary=rosh-chodesh-2\" data-gt-translate-attributes=\"[{&quot;attribute&quot;:&quot;data-cmtooltip&quot;, &quot;format&quot;:&quot;html&quot;}]\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">Rosh Chodesh<\/a> Nisan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Giving <a href=\"%E2%80%9Dhttps:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/contributions\/%E2%80%9D\" class=\"broken_link\">Tzedaka <\/a><\/strong> to open the gates if <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Yessod&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Yessod is the sefira that delivers light, and nourishments that sustain life in the world. Joseph is the chariot (vehicle) for the sefira of Yessod. He controlled the sustenance of Egypt and the world, and he is a channel of sustenance.We connect to Yessod through studies, Tzedaka, and Tzadikim.Friday is Yessod of the week. Kislev is Yessod of the months.&lt;\/div&gt;\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/?glossary=yessod\" data-gt-translate-attributes=\"[{&quot;attribute&quot;:&quot;data-cmtooltip&quot;, &quot;format&quot;:&quot;html&quot;}]\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">Yessod<\/a> and connect to life energy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sharing food (Mishloach Manot).&nbsp; <\/strong> to be p art of a big vessel, going beyond the desires for the self.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Giving gift to the poor.<\/strong> Rich or poor, we all have a soul that comes from the light. Giving to the poor allow us to continue to be a channel of sustenance and blessings to others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Listen to reading of Megilat Esther<\/strong> (scroll of Esther). It is called &amp;quot;Mount Zion&rdquo; because it is the higher level where we can see the Light. It is the center of the world. The first letter of &#1497;&#1505;&#1493;&#1491;,&nbsp;Yessod, is Yod to tell us that it includes the light from the highest level. The word &#1497;&#1505;&#1493;&#1491; has a numerical value of 80 to tell us that it is spread from the level of Chokmah&nbsp;down with the ability to connect to&nbsp;Malchut. Jerusalem is Malchut and below Yesod.Jerusalem of the lower level is dark without the light from the &lsquo;Mount of Zion&rsquo; that brings completion and fulfillment.Jerusalem is considered &amp;#039;sick&amp;#039; without the constant flow of Light from the Holy Temple.
