32. כָּל יְמֵי זוֹב טֻמְאָתָהּ. מַה זֶּה כָּל יְמֵי זוֹב טֻמְאָתָהּ? אֶלָּא שֶׁהָרְשָׁעִים מְטַמְּאִים אֶת עַצְמָם בַּחֲטָאֵיהֶם וּמְטַמְּאִים מָקוֹם אַחֵר, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (במדבר יט) כִּי אֶת מִקְדַּשׁ ה’ טִמֵּא. וּמְעוֹרְרִים רוּחַ טֻמְאָה עֲלֵיהֶם. וְלֶעָתִיד לָבֹא עָתִיד הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לְטַהֵר אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל וּלְהַעֲבִיר אֶת אוֹתָהּ רוּחַ טֻמְאָה מִן הָעוֹלָם, שֶׁכָּתוּב לֹא יוֹסִיף יָבֹא בָךְ עוֹד עָרֵל וְטָמֵא. וְכָתוּב וְאֶת רוּחַ הַטֻּמְאָה אַעֲבִיר מִן הָאָרֶץ. מִן הָאָרֶץ וַדַּאי. \n33. רַבִּי חִזְקִיָּה הָיָה יוֹשֵׁב לִפְנֵי רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר. לַיְלָה אֶחָד קָמוּ בַּחֲצוֹת הַלַּיְלָה לַעֲסֹק בַּתּוֹרָה. פָּתַח רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר וְאָמַר, (קהלת ז) בְּיוֹם טוֹבָה הֱיֵה בְטוֹב וְגוֹ’, גַּם אֶת זֶה עֻמַּת זֶה עָשָׂה הָאֱלֹהִים וְגוֹ’. בְּיוֹם טוֹבָה הֱיֵה בְטוֹב – בִּזְמַן שֶׁמַּרְבֶּה הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא חֶסֶד בָּעוֹלָם צָרִיךְ אָדָם לָלֶכֶת בַּשְּׁוָקִים וּלְהֵרָאוֹת לִפְנֵי הַכֹּל, שֶׁהֲרֵי כְּשֶׁמַּתְחִיל טוּבוֹ שֶׁל הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא בָּעוֹלָם, הוּא שׁוֹרֶה בַכֹּל, וּבַכֹּל הוּא עוֹשֶׂה טוֹב וּמַרְבֶּה אוֹתוֹ בָּעוֹלָם. וּמִשּׁוּם כָּךְ יֵרָאֶה אָדָם בְּגָלוּי בַּשְּׁוָקִים, וְיַעֲשֶׂה טוֹב שֶׁיִּשְׁרֶה עָלָיו טוֹב אַחֵר. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (שם) בְּיוֹם טוֹבָה הֱיֵה בְטוֹב. הֱיֵה בְטוֹב וַדַּאי.<\/div>\n

\nZohar Metzora<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ecclesiastes 7:14<\/a>
\n“בְּיוֹם טוֹבָה הֱיֵה בְטוֹב”
\n“In the day of good be good”<\/p>\n

Rabbi Elazar, the son of Rabbi Shimon, and Rabbi Chizkiya got up at midnight to study Torah. Rabbi Elazar quoted the verse above and explains that when the Holy One brings Chessed<\/a> to the world we should be seen in public and act with Chessed<\/a> so the Chessed<\/a> from above would come to him.<\/p>\n

The Kabbalistic principle we study here is ‘equaling forms’, which means that when one form is like another then they can be in unification.
\nAfter midnight the Light of Chessed<\/a> appears in the world and Rabbi Elazar and Rabbi Chizkiya got up to study Torah. When they do that they reveal Light of Chessed<\/a> in the world and the Chessed<\/a> from above comes to them.<\/p>\n

Proverbs 31:26<\/a>
\n“פִּיהָ, פָּתְחָה בְחָכְמָה; וְתוֹרַת חֶסֶד, עַל-לְשׁוֹנָהּ”
\n“She opens her mouth in wisdom, And the Torah of kindness (Chessed<\/a>) is on her tongue.”<\/p>\n

The Zohar is the highest level of Torah study and it takes us even higher than the level of Chessed<\/a>. A simple study of Zohar at anytime, especially between midnight and first light, connects us to levels of Lights that benefit our lives and the world.<\/p>\n

This lesson is also about choosing the right spiritual environment for yourself. Choose the place that teaches and elevates you to where you can draw Light. Some places give you a chair and collect money like a tax collector. If their eyes focused on your money then they have little Light to offer. Such a place is dangerous for your soul.
\nUnfortunately, many synagogues and ‘spiritual’ places are deeply flawed and the individuals need to have strong and pure consciousness to rise above the gravity of wrongs in that environment to have ‘equal forms’ and draw Light into his life.<\/p>\n

Those who can wake up after midnight (Hebrew clock) to study Zohar even for 18 minutes can reveal and draw great Light.<\/p>\n

The best time for Zohar study is Shabbat and especially Shabbat afternoon.<\/p>\n

We prepare on Friday to receive Light on Shabbat. Fridays is the best time to give tithe and donations. The day is the aspect of Yessod<\/a>, the channel for sustenance and righteousness, and giving tithe is equaling forms (our action and Yessod<\/a>) opens the channel of Yessod<\/a> for us to receive the Light of Shabbat.<\/p>\n
