\nZohar Acharei Mot<\/strong>
\nContinued from previous DZ<\/p>\n

The Zohar explains that on Yom Kippur it was established to read the portion about the death of the sons of Aaron, Nadav and Avihu<\/a>, to atone for past transgressions.
\nDuring holidays we read about sacrifices made in the Holy Temple for the specific holidays to open a channel and draw the Light that is revealed during that holiday.
\nOn the morning of Yom Kippur we read from the Torah about the death of Nadav and Avihu<\/a> (Leviticus 16,1-34). Their death was like a sacrifice that brought cleansing for the Israelites<\/a>.
\nTheir souls opened for us a channel for all generations, until the coming of Mashiach that they will have a merit to announce.<\/p>\n

Since they incarnated in Pinchas and Pinchas is Elijah and Elijah is going to announce the coming of Mashiach, it is as if Nadav and Avihu<\/a> will do that. They succeeded with the sacrifice they made on the day of the initiation of the Holy Tabernacle. They wanted to bring the Light of Mashiach and the Final Correction on that day but because it wasn’t the right time their souls were taken and given to Pinchas. The Immortal Pinchas\/Elijah\/ Nadav and Avihu<\/a> is\/are waiting for the right time to complete their work as eternal priests<\/a>. (Numbers 25:13<\/a> “and it shall be for him and his descendants after him, a covenant of a perpetual priesthood”.<\/p>\n

\n“הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי שֹׁלֵחַ לָכֶם, אֵת אֵלִיָּה הַנָּבִיא–לִפְנֵי, בּוֹא יוֹם יְהוָה, הַגָּדוֹל, וְהַנּוֹרָא”
