\n40. וְעָלֶיךָ כָּתוּב, (משלי כג) יִשְׂמַח אָבִיךָ וְגוֹ’. כֵּיוָן שֶׁכָּתוּב יִשְׂמַח אָבִיךָ וְאִמֶּךָ, מַה זֶּה וְתָגֵל יוֹלַדְתֶּךָ? שֶׁהֲרֵי בְּאִמֶּךָ מַסְפִּיק. אֶלָּא יִשְׂמַח אָבִיךָ – זֶה הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא. וְאִמֶּךָ – זוֹ כְּנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל. וְתָגֵל יוֹלַדְתֶּךָ – יוֹלַדְתְּךָ שֶׁלְּמַטָּה. אֵיפֹה שִׂמְחָתוֹ שֶׁל רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן אָבִיךָ? אֶלָּא פָּסוּק הוּא לְבַדּוֹ, שֶׁכָּתוּב (שם) גִּיל יָגִיל אֲבִי צַדִּיק – זֶה הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא. וְיוֹלֵד חָכָם יִשְׂמַח בּוֹ – זֶה אָבִיךָ שֶׁלְּמַטָּה. דָּבָר אַחֵר, גִּיל יָגִיל אֲבִי צַדִּיק – זֶה אָבִיךָ שֶׁלְּמַטָּה. וְיוֹלֵד חָכָם יִשְׂמַח בּוֹ, כָּתוּב בְּתוֹסֶפֶת וָא”ו – זֶה הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לְמַעְלָה.<\/div>\n

\nZohar Bamidbar<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rabbi Pinchas<\/a> ben Yair, the father in law of Rabbi Shimon, enjoyed the previous Zohar study and kissed Rabbi Elazar, the son of Rabbi Shimon, telling him how lucky he was to have the merit of listening to them. He quotes Psalms 27:1<\/a>
\n“לְדָוִד: יְהוָה, אוֹרִי וְיִשְׁעִי–מִמִּי אִירָא;
\nיְהוָה מָעוֹז-חַיַּי, מִמִּי אֶפְחָד”
\n“of David. YHVH<\/a> is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? YHVH<\/a> is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread?”<\/p>\n

When a person looks for the upper Light and the Holy One Blessed be He gives him the desired Light he has no reason to fear upper or lowers.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 60:2<\/a>
\n“וְעָלַיִךְ יִזְרַח יְהוָה, וּכְבוֹדוֹ עָלַיִךְ יֵרָאֶה”
\n“but YHVH<\/a> will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.”<\/p>\n

When a person makes connections on a regular basis, he feels the Light in his life. He achieves a great level of certainty that helps him walk with ease through life’s challenges.<\/p>\n

Rabbi Pinchas<\/a> ben Yair tells Rabbi Elazar that when he is holding to him and his father, Rabbi Shimon, he has no fear in this world and the other world.<\/p>\n

The study of Zohar is like holding to the Light of Rabbi Shimon, his son, Moses, Elijah, their great students and all the special Tzadikim souls that support the Zohar study and revelations of Rabbi Shimon.
\nMany students of the Daily Zohar feel a great level of certainty in the ways of the Light in their lives. It comes from their soul because of the Light of the Zohar that they reveal in their lives with the continuous study. They don’t have to force themselves into feeling certainty to connect to the Light. They connect to the Light to get that certainty.<\/p>\n

It’s not ego or arrogance if I say that the value of the Daily Zohar study is great because I bring the Zohar in sequence, skipping nothing. I wish I could do more but I don’t have time and budget to do all my ‘crazy’ ideas.

\nI have no fear of losing students to other websites or teachers. My fear is that I don’t do enough to elevate more people spiritually.<\/p>\n

I was told today that there’s a Yeshiva<\/a> (religious school) in Israel<\/a> where each student reads several Zohar pages and together they complete the reading of the entire Zohar every day.<\/p>\n
