\n34. רַבִּי אַבָּא אָמַר, כֵּיוָן שֶׁשְּׁלָחוֹ לְהִכָּנֵס לְשָׁם, הִצְטָרֵךְ לִהְיוֹת שָׁלֵם, וּבַמֶּה? בַּשְּׁכִינָה. שֶׁעַד אוֹתָהּ שָׁעָה נִקְרָא נַעַר, כְּמוֹ שֶׁבֵּאַרְנוּ, וּבְאוֹתָהּ שָׁעָה קְשָׁרוֹ מֹשֶׁה אֵלֶיהָ. וְאַף עַל גַּב שֶׁמָּצָאנוּ יְהוֹשֻׁעַ בַּתְּחִלָּה, הַפָּסוּק קְרָאוֹ כָּךְ עַל שֶׁעָתִיד לְהִקָּרֵא כָּךְ. אָמַר מֹשֶׁה, וַדַּאי זֶה לֹא צָרִיךְ לְהִכָּנֵס לְשָׁם, אֶלָּא בַּשְּׁכִינָה, וְכָךְ רָאוּי.
\n35. הֲיֶשׁ בָּהּ עֵץ אִם אַיִן וְגוֹ’. רַבִּי חִיָּיא אָמַר, וְכִי לֹא הָיָה יוֹדֵעַ מֹשֶׁה שֶׁיֵּשׁ בָּהּ כַּמָּה עֵצִים מְשֻׁנִּים זֶה מִזֶּה? וַהֲרֵי הוּא שִׁבַּח אוֹתָהּ לְיִשְׂרָאֵל כַּמָּה פְעָמִים, וְהוּא הִסְתַּפֵּק בָּזֶה?! וַהֲרֵי הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא אָמַר לְמֹשֶׁה בַּתְּחִלָּה שֶׁהִיא אֶרֶץ זָבַת חָלָב וּדְבַשׁ. אָמַר רַבִּי יוֹסֵי, בָּזֶה הִתְעוֹרְרוּ הַחֲבֵרִים, שֶׁכָּתוּב (איוב א) אִישׁ הָיָה בְאֶרֶץ עוּץ אִיּוֹב שְׁמוֹ.<\/div>\n

\nZohar Shelach Lecha<\/strong><\/p>\n

Numbers 13:20<\/a>
\n“וּמָה הָאָרֶץ הַשְּׁמֵנָה הִוא אִם-רָזָה, הֲיֵשׁ-בָּהּ עֵץ אִם-אַיִן, וְהִתְחַזַּקְתֶּם, וּלְקַחְתֶּם מִפְּרִי הָאָרֶץ; וְהַיָּמִים–יְמֵי, בִּכּוּרֵי עֲנָבִים.”
\n“How is the land, is it fat or lean? Is there a tree in it or not? Draw strength and get some of the fruit of the land.” Now the time was the time of the first ripe grapes.”<\/p>\n

The Zohar says that God already told Moses before that the Land is a land of “milk and honey” so why does Moses send the people to tour the land?<\/p>\n

The secret is that Moses wanted the head of the tribes to make their own connection with the Tree of Life<\/a>, draw strength from it and carry with them its strong energy, represented with the ripe grapes.<\/p>\n

The Zohar reveals that the testimony of the leaders of the tribes was influenced by personal agenda. They assumed that Moses would appoint new leaders when entering the Land and they didn’t want to lose their leadership position.<\/p>\n

Moses gave them the opportunity to make a great connection and draw great Light but they missed it. They didn’t look for the Tree to ‘draw strength’ from the Light of the land as Moses suggested.<\/p>\n

Lesson:
\nThe cemeteries are full of dead people who lived chasing honor and material comfort only. They are dead and if they had a tomb stone made of gold, they were robbed long ago. We came to this world and we are looking for our comfort rather than what kind of strength we can get from this life to the next. We (our souls) were sent here to look for the ‘Tree’ and draw strength from it. This strength is carried with us to the next world and earns us a ticket to the resurrection.
\nWe should look into our lives and consider how many years we have left to live and how much Light did we earn in out ‘Light’ account. Today, more than ever we need to focus on ‘drawing strength’ to our souls rather than looking for the temporary pleasures.<\/p>\n

Those who are dedicated to the study of Zohar connect to the Tree that is in the Zohar.
