22. וְדֶרֶךְ סוֹד, בַּעַל הַבַּיִת בּוֹצֵעַ – זֶה הָעַמּוּד הָאֶמְצָעִי, שֶׁהוּא קַו הָאֶמְצָעִי. וּבְשַׁבָּת צָרִיךְ לִבְצֹעַ מִשְּׁתֵּי כִּכָּרוֹת, שֶׁהֵן ה’ ה’. בַּעַל הַבַּיִת – זֶה ו’ שֶׁל הָאֶמְצַע. \n23. וּפֵרוּרִים בְּכַזַּיִת, הֵם בְּצַדִּיק, וְהוּא כּוֹתֵשׁ כְּתִישׁוֹת מֵאוֹתָם הַזֵּיתִים. וְהָאוֹרֵחַ מְבָרֵךְ, (משלי ד) וְאֹרַח צַדִּיקִים כְּאוֹר נֹגַהּ. בְּרָכוֹת לְרֹאשׁ צַדִּיק חַי הָעוֹלָמִים, וְלָכֵן הָאוֹרֵחַ מְבָרֵךְ.<\/div>\n

\nZohar Ekev<\/strong>
\nContinued from previous DZ<\/p>\n

The Zohar reveals that the ‘owner of the house’, who blesses the table first, is the aspect of the Central Column, Zeir Anpin<\/a> and the letter Vav of the YHVH<\/a> name. He uses two Challahs, that represent the two letters H of the name for Binah<\/a> and Malchut<\/a>. He breaks the bread and gives portions in the size of an egg, that represent the letter Yod of the name. The smaller pieces of the bread, like olives in size, have the aspect of the letter Y of the name ADNY (Malchut<\/a>).<\/p>\n

According to the Zohar, throwing away or disregarding pieces of blessed bread is like spilling seeds and wasting Light. Those who don’t respect it suffer lacks in their lives and they have no mercy, as it says in Job 15:23<\/a>
\n“נֹדֵד הוּא לַלֶּחֶם אַיֵּה; יָדַע, כִּי-נָכוֹן בְּיָדוֹ יוֹם-חֹשֶׁךְ”
\n“He wanders about for food, saying, ‘Where is it?’ He knows that a day of darkness is at hand.”<\/p>\n

These pieces of bread have the aspects of the Sefirot and the righteous one extracts from them Light of abundance. If there is a righteous among the guests then he is chosen to make the final blessing of the food.<\/p>\n

\n“בְּרָכוֹת, לְרֹאשׁ צַדִּיק; וּפִי רְשָׁעִים, יְכַסֶּה חָמָס”
