Genesis 8:4<\/a>
\n“וַתָּנַח הַתֵּבָה בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי, בְּשִׁבְעָה-עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ, עַל, הָרֵי אֲרָרָט.”
\n“And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat”
\nThe seventh month is Tishrei (Libra) when we have Rosh Hashanah, the days that we appear in court. On Yom Kippur, which is ten days later, we receive the verdict. On Sukkot, which is on the fifteenth day of the month, we receive the Light for the coming year. Noah’s Ark rested on the mountains of Ararat on the seventeenth day. The Zohar reveals that the fifteenth and the sixteenth days are the first two days of the holiday that the seventy nations nourish from. During the holiday of Sukkoth we sacrifice 70 bulls to channel light to all 70 nations of the world.<\/p>\n

The mountains of Ararat are the aspects of the negative side and the judgments in the world where the ministers of the 70 nations dwell. The word Ararat, אררט has ארר in it and it’s the root for curses. On the seventeenth day the Shechina, that is the secret of the Ark, begins to reveal the light for the Israelites<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n“ וְהַמַּיִם, הָיוּ הָלוֹךְ וְחָסוֹר, עַד, הַחֹדֶשׁ הָעֲשִׂירִי; בָּעֲשִׂירִי בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ, נִרְאוּ רָאשֵׁי הֶהָרִים”
\n“And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month<\/a>, were the tops of the mountains seen”<\/p>\n

The decreasing water is the aspect of reducing the sacrifices for the 70 nations and increasing the light for the Israelites<\/a>.
\nOn the first day, they received 13 young bulls (channels of light). On the second day, 12 ‘שְׁתֵּי-עָשָׂר’ young bulls and on the third day, 11 bulls. Here the Torah doesn’t mention ‘young’ bulls but simple bulls. The Zohar reveals that the number 11, עַשְׁתֵּי-עָשָׂר, begins with the letter ע, spelled as עין ‘eye’. It was added to 12 ‘שְׁתֵּי-עָשָׂר’ to protect from evil and jealous eye. The 70 nations continue receiving the channels of light through the sacrifices but from the level of Malchut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Sukkah that we use during Sukkot gives the Israelites<\/a> the protection of the Shechina while receiving surrounding light and inner light form Binah<\/a> and Zeir Anpin<\/a>.<\/p>\n
